Can Sharkira's "side" talifins be folded down, to look more like an actual shark tail? The boxart has them positioned vertically downwards like a real shark tail, while all the pics of the actual toy have a weird whale/submarine combo tail...

Also, the recolor needs to be purple and teal:

They did tease this recently. :D

Yes you can do that with the tail fins just like the artwork. Just skip the step to split them apart.

I felt like the MegaBox Aliens Power Loader could do with some weathering, so I dirtied it up with a paint wash and marker, added scrapes with some metallic ink, and then toned down the plastic shine with some Testors Dullcote.

Edit: nope, it was an early proto of delta

Careful with the Panda’s ass. I broke the sliding panel off mine today just by sliding it during transformation. There’s just a small clip with two very tiny prongs holding it on and one of those prongs snapped off. Sad panda.

Thanks for the heads up. Would never have known. Will you try to get a replacement part from your seller?

I recently finally received the 1.5 Dio, which i really REALLY love, like top 3 toy purchases of the year. Other than the articulation, i love the size and paint details.

Looking for more along that line, but everything else seem so much bigger.

Anyways, are the top recommendations in general the Panda and the Bird? I will be considering the future lion / lochness monster when those are out, but sure would have liked something as compact as the Dio

I’ll get you more gatorzilla pics tomorrow when back in the office... unless someone else posts before then.

This ‘Rocksteady’ brick passes off a pretty good upright pose too.

My personal favourites are the crab, bird, gorilla and panda. In that order according to how fun they were to transform/play/pose. Make some space for more of em in your awesome shelf setup!

Unfortunately Dio is the only 4cm cube in the whole series and looks to remain that way.

No, I got it so long ago. I just glued the panel back on. It won’t slide anymore but I don’t really need it to.

Looks like they rotated the center torso (and the legs at their bicep/thigh swivel point) to give the tail the clearance to face back and turned the head and tail to look right. So the tail can lift enough to give room for it to stand up right, it just takes turning the back into the chest to pull it off due to the transformation joints.

Any other images of the latest painted sample? Or a link to where you found this one?

Unfortunately that’s the only pic they shared in the group chat. There’s plenty of stuff out for sale next month. The indications are ambulance hippo, limited translucent gator, white lion, bronto/apatosaurus and half the combiner. I’ll share when they officially reveal more.
