So far still no One 12 Announcements of Dr Doom or Red Sonja (not shelling out $100 to $400 for a Phichen Red Sonja, even though she has details that would appeal to guys, ie needing censor bars if the armor is removed, as I don’t collect 12 figures.........mainly because I lack the room and 12 inch gets up there in price)

If we get another version, I think it'd still use the same head and stuff, but just maybe the Black and White suit. Maybe an exclusive knowing them.

    Got my Baron today.
Looks even better in person than in photos. I don't know what material they used for the diving suit, but it's PERFECT jumpsuit material. They need to hold on to that stuff. It's soft and flexible without feeling flimsy or fragile, bunches up naturally and has a realistic "droop" simulating the pull of gravity.
My only complaint is that the hoses are a pain, but since it looks fine without them it's not a big deal.
I also dig the leather sealing collar and the alternate helmet. Gives me a vibe like they crossed a Predator with the Legion Of Doom hq lol.

Not sure why they’re putting out a new WW - they past ones don’t seem to sell that great. Admittedly, the heads (especially the angry one) look a bit better - the hair makes a difference too. Don’t need another (or maybe even one), but if I can get the angry head off eBay for relatively cheap, I might go for it.

Their exclusive Wonder Woman Classic sold well. It goes for $140-150+ on eBay. All their other Wonder Womans were movie versions I think.

It didn’t sell out day one and BBTS had a bunch for a while. While it did sell out, most exclusives do so much faster. The eBay prices are cheaper for the ones that actually sold too - just a tad above “retail”. I’m glad there are more options - just didn’t think this would have been the well they’d turn to so soon.

They handled that Wonder Woman like they did the Exclusive Spider-Man and John Wick. They left the preorder open for a few days and then shut it down, so anyone could PO it at the time and not be in a rush like with the rest of their exclusives that are already produced.

I like that but it really speaks volumes when an $85 figure has a non-refundable deposit.

I don't cancel preorders lightly. The fact is that Mezco dragged their asses for almost a year after we were told movie WW was due. So the prospect of that happening again, and customers, not Mezco, paying for it, makes the NRD almost a slap in the face.

Mezco started requiring NRDs on everything, even from their retailers. I think like 2018-2019 they made shit tons of figures and a lot languished on shelves and some still are because of just allowing as many orders as they want and lots of places allow for cancellations. BBTS and all the FB dealers are have NRDs.

They're definitely the type of company that wants their products to be premium and having figures discounted to $55-60 isn't what they wanted.

Every distributor I've seen going back at least 10 years has had a restocking fee so I sincerely doubt they weren't charging before. Regardless, if Mezco would deliver on time, if not when the figures are actually relevant (like with a movie), an NRD would be superfluous.

An NRD charged by the retailer does little to prevent toys from going to clearance. Delivering what you solicited when you solicited it would do far more.

Yes and no. It DOES reduce the number of pre-order cancellations, many of which ended up shelf-warming for a while. How much it reduces that is up for debate.

It may also reduce the number of preorders period. People do tend to catch on to market trends, be it "Mezco lies about release dates" or "Hasbro titans go to Ollies." Logically, in a gig economy, let alone something like this quarantine/lockdown on top, it doesn't seem smart to play that game of preorder roulette.

So damn gorgeous!!!! :p  Very pleased with how this one turned out! Magnetic bracelets is over the top, but shows the designers really care.
I hope they make a Hawkgirl in this line, though I know that's probably too optimistic, seeing as they're going for the more classic JL roster.
