Does anyone know if there is a thread where we can post endless images of melee sequences. If not, I'm thinking of starting one.

Not sure how to start a thread... not sure how much traction it would get... but the idea is rather than posed pictures like these...






...it could be a thread where we would be more likely to stuff like this.

So, you get the idea. These figures are so dynamic... I love seeing them in action. And there are so many members in this community whom I would love to see post a bunch of action and melee pics!

On the plus side, an all melee thread would keep my posts on this thread under 30 pics at a time.

I like the idea but "pose" threads never seem to gain much traction. If you decide to start one, I'll be there but I don't know how many other people will.

 

Based on the "continued next time" I would suggest the funnies as these are, essentially, a comic strip.

Or you could just wrap the post in spoiler tags to condense it upon first view.

Thanks! I had never even stumbled onto the Funnies body of threads until your post made me search it out!

There seems to be a limitless number of creators on those threads (76 pages of different threads). I don't know where to begin.

@Snaku do you have a thread in the Funnies?! Your stuff is actually quite humerus... and I make no bones about that!!

But it made me consider if these sequential stories should continue to be called Comics or Funnies... not just in the TFW2005, but in the larger sense of the term.

Outside of Garth Ennis, and the occasional one-liner from Spider-Man, I find most of mainstream comics to be devoid of humor.

Imagine if we thought the same of of John Oliver, George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Ricky Gervais, etc... would the world continue to refer to the social commentary of these individuals as comedy?

I would say that my endless melee scenes are also lacking a much needed dose of humor... and as such would find a difficult home in the Funnies.

As for the Spoiler Tag, I completely forgot about that!! Is that somewhere in the "More Options" area?

I don't. I only recently found out it existed and I've been too lazy to gather up the comics I've made and copy them over there. Besides that, I haven't done that many and even those were mostly just April Fool's posts or were topical for the thread I posted them in (like the one I did about Megatron mistaking Jabber for a Decepticon because people in the thread were saying his coloring looked like a Decepticon's) - it didn't even occur to me that it'd be a regular thing people did on the site.

 

^I'm not sure what's cooler, all the Joes or the TW Perfect Edition Devy?
