Anyone else dislike how MP are referenced by their number and not their name? If I had a dollar for every time I had to google mo numbers to know who they were talking about, I could afford an MP.
Is confusing sometimes but I think people do that when there are multiple versions of the same character in the same line, like Optimus Prime or Megatron, therefore trying to avoid confusion, without much success I would say!
Yeah, it gets annoying (and looking back I wish I put prime in the title). I guess its just easier for people since it takes less time to type and it references exactly which version. I do find myself googling the numbers from time to time cause I can't keep track tho.
I don't even own any FT! All this argument over which company is best or who said what went too far! I did not want this when I said TT messed up with OP and Hound. I just said what I thought! So please just get over it and let's just all enjoy this hobby. I enjoy it and transformers because they let me escape from the rough things of life and I am sure it's the same thing for many of us! There is so much other things to argue about in life, so much things to be sad about, do why bring some hate in here? Of course there is no reason for us all to agree about one design being perfect or one brand being better but I feel there is no need for all this bad energy. This figure will be awesome and satisfy all people who were disappointed by MP-44 or those who could not afford it!
Oh my god same, especially in the case of most characters who don't get remade all the time like Prime and Bee. I don't mind it QUITE as much in their case since Prime has three MPs alone (although who is still discussing MP-01 at this point, really?) but for the love of GOD JUST CALL HIM HOT ROD, NOBODY CARES IF HE'S MP-28 OR WHATEVER, WE KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT
When people say MP-01, MP-10, or MP-44 I get that they mean Optimus. 1 and 10 were milestones, and 44 is just infamous. Beyond that, though, I have to use the context of the discussion to be like, "oh, they must be talking about Shockwave" or something. Otherwise I wind up having to Google it.
It makes more sense for MP-01, MP-10 and MP-44 as they are different design but I agree that this MP name is difficult to follow
I had faith in a retooled design that lessened that damned hump on his back but that doesn't seem to be the case at least with this release.
