What are you talking about? 2 new episodes just aired this past weekend on CN and 2 more are set to air this weekend

 

Cyberverse isn't like Generations. Re-releases abound in different waves, and sometimes even entire waves are just re-shuffling existing figures on the pegs (see the listing for Scout Wave 9, those are all ones released in earlier waves).

 

I'm mildy interested in the Ultimate Ioconus especially if he's one of the better ultimates like the first Optimus and Grimlock. If he's like the crappy spin transformation Optimus and Shoclwave I'm out.

I wanna support new characters without regretting my purchase.

 

Nice, I did not see that listed anywhere before in news. Skullcruncher never transformed on the show, but I assume he gets a bot mode here.
There is some hope that we get more characters, then. It's annoying that Bludgeon and Whirl only got crappy 3-step changers or whatever. I would love if we got a second wave of the Warriors with a build-a-figure, too.
And I just noticed Iaconus? Wow. I am interested now, finally a titan!

You can just watch the show elsewhere, even this site has the download links for the 3rd season. I already watched it months ago. Trust me 3rd season really ups the ante, has references to Marvel and IDW and G1 cartoon that only big TF fans would get. And it has some great ideas like the Matrix-style (the movie, not the object) Quintesson invasion and alternate universes.
You are right that the toys are crap, sadly. Only the more recent Ultra classes and the Warrior toys with build-a-figure parts are any good. I am still annoyed the only decent toys of Shadow Striker and Slipstream are still pretty terrible. They would need better toys soon. I am glad that apparently we are still getting some, despite the show being over.

 

I will say that Whirl is one of the VERY few 1-step changers I would whole-heartedly recommend to every Transfan. Yes, he only has articulation in the arms, but that's about his only downside. Fantastic robot mode, fun transformation (he actually has 4 or 5 steps in the traditional sense), well-proportioned robot mode with no kibble.

With Bludgeon he's basically the RID2015 design, so if you can get that version there's no real need to get the Cyberverse version unless you're a completist like me.

 

Yes they do but toy company makes toys for kids not a lot for adults these made for kids

You got it right hasbro makes toys little kids not adults and kids do not care scale well to begin with transformer toys where never in scale with another if that where true generation one Optimus prime would be half size of generation one metroplex toys transformer toys will never be in scale with another in toy form

I've shown some of these to kids and they thought they looked stupid. Kids aren't as dumb as you think.

Like I said, these toys look awful.

I agree, he's a fun little guy and just what I wanted in a Whirl figure. Good price, fine articulation, looks good enough.

 

Something may be wrong with your DVR mine hasnt missed a single episode of season 3 episode 23 and 24 are set to record this Sunday

 

i'm glad were regetting the warrior gnaw, now i have a chance to buy 3 of them for my quintesson army

I'm hoping Iaconus has a base alt mode. Even if it's just designed for those horrible scout class figures. And yes, Iaconus would still stand taller than G1 Metroplex.
