Just ordered today! Though says it wont be here till June 5th,

 

Mine hasn't shipped yet but still says it will be here friday. June 5th isn't that much of a wait. I'm just waiting for it to actually ship to cancel my bbts and chosen prime preorders for it

 

I saw that bigbadtoystore has preorders for overload that should ship around June. How good are they on their estimate? I’ve never used them before but I’ve heard they’re good.

 

BBTS is reliable. They get their dates straight from the supplier (Hasbro in this case), so it's as good an estimate as any. Actual ship times may vary. They can be early, and they can be late. It all depends on when the shipments actually come in.

I've been on a "behind the scenes" kick with the movies this week and stumbled upon the segment for Devastator.
Really nice and detailed shots of him that will hopefully be some lovely inspiration for upgrade kits for this big guy
6:10 is the Devastator mark.

 

Heads up. This might just me my case, but the scrapper (and Apple headphones I’m a music man) that I ordered from amazon that were supposed to get to my place on June second, are going to be delivered the day after I bought them (I bought them on the morning of the 26th). I dont know if that means much for any of you, but holy s**t, that’s insane. Just thought I’d share my blessed good luck.

 

Yeah just picked up Scrapper as well from Amazon. I'm not in the US so it says it'll take till around June 14-20 to deliver but I was lucky to pick him up when I did cause I checked and the price just shot up a bit.

 

My amazon scrapper shipped. Cancelled my BBTS and TCP order. Hated to be "that guy", but he was sold out everywhere.

 

Just wait until overload starts being available. Finding the essential piece is going to be a nightmare.

 

I have a $30 preorder from amazon for him. I may get a second copy at full price just to have it for display. I really like his robot mode. I’d put him with an oversized Longhaul.

 

I too have an Overload preordered, which is a first for a studio series figure for me. I’m not willing to suffer through the pain of hunting one down after release

 

I've had every single Constructicon on preorder, and ended up finding them in the store long before the preorders were due. I found Scrapper last month at Walmart. I have Overload on preorder, but if the trend continues, I'll probably end up picking him up in-store.

 

I’m really glad these dudes came out piecemeal, as I’ve quite enjoyed them individually. Scrapmetal and Mixmaster especially, because I doubt I’ll ever disassemble Devastator once I finally finish the set.

 

I’m also pretty happy they’ve been released this way too. I’m not one to leave a figure on a shelf and not mess around with it, but it’s been nice to learn the ins and outs of every figure individually before the grand finale.

 

Scrapper came in. Not as good as scavenger but he’s damn close.

 

And does anyone have a way to tighten the connector pin on Hightower? Now that I have scrapper I’m seeing how loose it really is.

 

These guys also have way more individuality compared to the G1/Scramble stuff. Honestly, if you didn't know they could combine there's nothing that really screams it besides the two connectors on Scrapper/Hightower, and those are pretty well out of sight in both modes.

It makes them really stand out among all of the other combiners... damn near in the entire franchise.

 

Scrapper will hopefully arrive tomorrow. This set got me back into chug stuff. I picked up Netflix Magnus & Hotlink, ER screamer, and SS sentinel last night.

I also picked up Cang toys first bot this month. And new guitar pickups... why did I have to pick 2 expensive hobbies.

 

My scrapper shipped today but June 1st is the delivery day. Still no sign of Sentinel Prime on Amazon Canada.
