I didn't realize that... but nonetheless it doesn't make it any less canon. In fact, some of the stuff from it is undeniably canon, such as the Maccadam/Alchemist Prime thing.

 

Honestly, we don't know what the arrangement is. If Hasbro doesn't know, I get it. But if the two months is a built-in and expected part of the agreement, i can't think of a reason they wouldn't post the real release date other than to secure preorders and compete with other importers.

 

Because of the 2 months delay for Pulse, it would then arrive around Christmas. I'm cool with that.

 

You’re right, we don’t know. However since the product is being supplied and shipped by Takara I’d say they are more responsible for the incorrect info than hasbro, at least pulse is quick to alert customers once they get a delay

True. i think it is more of a two week delay for that. Once ordered a model kit from Japan one year, at the start of December. Got it the later half of January, so most likely that

 

And the plural of aircraft is aircraft. (people getting this one wrong is spreading like wildfire the past couple years--Youtube categories and even an actual airline get this wrong now).

Wonder why the pulse site is down ?

 

Given the malapropisms that pop up nowadays, I figured it was more of an autocorrect issue, so I didn't want to jump on someone if that was the case.

Going back to one of my earlier posts, I'm still of the thought process that Takara and Hasbro have separate runs, for logistics reasons; perhaps to keep up their normal production schedule dates, or to accommodate when the orders are larger then expected; they produce their contracted orders for, say, Earthrise wave X, switch over to Takara's expected production run, switch over to Earthrise wave X+1, switch to Pulses production run. This allows them to produce their mainline figures on target times and doesn't cause delays should they get a production order far larger then they were expecting. Normally I wouldn't think it, but it's the most logical solution that fits all the evidence; in either the feedback forum or the Seacon thread here, some members who have gotten both Takara and Pulse versions of the same Seacon have found differences in the figures themselves, not just the outer box. It wouldn't make sense to make modifications like that mid-run, but if they were separate runs, it would. That would also explain the delay in Pulse getting their stock, and allow any small changes, such as the minor tooling differences and the extra slipcover to happen without issue.

Also, as an aside, I hadn't considered the delay, if so, that would be enormously helpful to my current outlook on my budget. Having 3 Super Megatrons and God Neptune fall into the same pay period for me like the original release dates was going to be tight for me, but if they fall under two different pay periods, that's much easier to accommodate. At the moment if everything arrives when they say they will, my September and October would be absolutely terrible fiscally, I'm trusting that some stuff will come in earlier as well and that they're more placeholder dates (ER Snapdragon, Sunstreaker, and Trailbreaker, for example). Plus that would mean God Neptune is a Christmas present and I really like that idea.

 

There's no reason why she wouldn't be.

The only time the Spychanger version has has appeared in fiction she was a female and now here's Splendid Convoy appearing in a team of exclusively females. Seems pretty inarguable that they're women (but more arguable is whether they're the same character).

 

Why is he called Splendid Convoy? Where did this name come from?

 

Iunno, but she's a she. She's a female version of Optimus.

I think it's one of those names someone at Takara comes up with who knows what those words mean, but isn't a native English speaker and doesn't understand how odd it sounds.
