She's ok with it as long as I just use to money we budget for it. She does feel I have too many, which is probably true. I just cant part with many right now.

 

Mine has grown into acceptance lol. I ballooned out and got way too many too fast which she didn't like. Had a few conversations so we agreed I can continue as long as a) I don't have bins of them that can't be displayed due to no space and b) the shelves I have (4.5 bookcases) are the only places they go and can all be seen (so basically no stacking). If I buy new ones, some will have to go. So, she gets the ebb and flow and seems quite fine with it now. Not hugely into it, but it's my thing I like and she knows it could be far worse lol.

 

She claims to like it because she knows it makes me happy. I know I just have to try to keep things from getting too cluttered. I've pulled back on collecting somewhat the past year, or so, in part because I don't want for things to get so far out of hand that she starts putting the kibosh on things.

I've also discovered that she is a closeted fan of Predator action figures. I never would have imagined that. I didn't go apeshit and start getting her (and me muahahaha) a bunch of Predator stuff, but I did get her one of the NECA Predators and a few POPs.

 

Just a heads up to anyone with SS sentinel. The ball joint that forms the heel on mine was very tight. I had trouble moving it to transform into the alt mode. Didn't think too much about it, but went to transform him today and saw massive stress marks around the female side of the joint, and felt like it might break if I moved it.

Boiled some water and did 2, 30 sec dips on each heel joint, with a few secs of running cold water over the foot in between.

No more stress marks, and the joint loosened up nicely.

Took a day trip yesterday. If you guys ever make it to Dayton, Tn, check out the guitar shop across from the court house. There is a beautiful display of vintage toys in the middle of the shop. Unfortunately none of it is for sale. There were several "unicorns" I have been looking for including a Transformers Collectors Showcase.

 

East TN got the Netflix deluxes. Still no Hotlink.

Found all the Autobot deluxe Netflix figures at the Maryville Wal-Mart today. At least two of each, but only one Chromia left.

 

Turkey Creek Target got nothing.

Turkey Creek Walmart has 2 Netflix Sideswipe and a pretty good amount of G1 Astrotrain. Nothing else.

 

Alright found the Earthrise Battle Masters and Micromasters at the Franklin Target finally done with wave 1 c'mon wave 2

 

As of 10 am there's an Ironworks for $12 at Norris freeway bargin hunt on the top shelf in a crumpled package, but it is in one piece.

I've got two already so I'm good.

 

My stupid Walmart in East TN got 1 case in. They didn't even bother to open it & put them on the shelf. I found the sealed case thrown up on the top shelf.

 

My local Walmart got the new Transformers display unit in. The Voyager packs in the bottom looked like they got kicked in, though of course the toys themselves seemed to be fine. This also marked the first time my store has ever received Earthrise anything, and consequently it's the first time I've encountered the current line in the wild.

 

Maryville Wal-Mart got in a case of Netflix Hotlink/Megatron.

After years of having the plans for this, I finally made it. I took the time during quarantine to figure out the scaling I wanted. Took a couple weeks of printing, pasting, and cutting. It is my first shot at something like this, and I am very pleased with the results. Just wanted to share it with you all.
