Does anyone remember if stores like BBTS had a memorial day sale last year?

Using the filters on their site (like availability>>available now) ought to save a bunch of time in searching.
    DA578E33-BCF2-4F56-84C9-CFF88EE0151E.jpeg

GS also has a current sale of an additional 25% off clearance items; and when the sale first launched a few days ago, there was an odd overlap where some of their ending 30% off collectibles sale was also being applied to already discounted items for ‘the new’ sale (it’s ‘remedied’ now since I’m assuming the clean break in dates has occurred).

As potential options, the lackluster marvel legends cannonball (wendigo wave) and 80th retro iceman are each clearanced to $6 & the bogo50% off makes them $4.50 each (which isn’t a bad price considering my plan is to pull the flame effects off of cannonball’s torso and give it to an MP scaled dinobot; and extra iceman figures will be a cota variant while orange marker highlights on the horrible snow effect packaged might make decent foot flames for a 3P dinobot).

page 1111 & 1112 of this thread are from mid-May last year (just change the page number in the url); and there were a few one day & weekend sales posted that a few e-tailers were offering at that time.

a relatively recent feature bbts added to mobile devices was to allow sorting of their on-sale/clearanced items (or any filtered search) by the discounted % (which previously could only be done on desktop view access to their site).

Memorial Day is the start of the Summer tourism and travel season. While there are plenty of Memorial Day sales, they are mostly B&M ones.

Where they're just trying to sell off the same crap on clearance they've been pushing for year, but $10 higher and labelled as a sale.

Walmarts in southern Oklahoma are running Siege/Earthrise voyagers for $26.86 (+tax) in-store currently. I think deluxes were also slightly discounted, $18 and some change.

Of course it will. The point is what is your price/pain ratio? How much are you willing to spend to get it easily? The lower the price drops, the more likely it will get to be hard to find. OP, Starscream, etc. all came down to like $10 on clearance, but nearly impossible to find unless you happened to be near a store that for some reason still had them.

19.99 is where I jump in. If I don't get it, I don't get it.

The MSRP on these Wal-Mart reissues is wildly inflated. (opinion, obviously)

That's what I paid for mine. Scanned it on a whim at Wal-mart far before this pandemic started (February?), and it scanned at 25 bucks.
