Yes, try to unscrew it a little until it's soft enough but not loose.

Weird that you feel that way. I actually found the transformation fairly simple. I used instructions to go to tank mode, but then was easily able to transform him back without them.

My left arm got so loose that I would not even stay up and just flopped down. I ended up unscrewing it and putting a thin piece of paper in between. Are used sticker backing the kind it is slightly thicker than paper that we pull adhesive symbols off of. Now it’s nice and tight. It is kind of a bitch to get it back in though because the bolt that the screw goes into to hold the arms together moves around when you try to screw it in. I had to put pressure on it to tighten it down but it knocked some paint off the bolt. I touched up the areas with a sharpie and now he looks pretty good. I feel like this figure and iceman have some major problems. I love how this guy looks but he’s not as solid as other Fanstoys releases.

Are you sure you didn't mistakenly pick up Wardog instead of Sheridan?

Normally I don't transform my FT figures but I actually enjoyed Sheridans transformation. FT figures are in the realm posable statues with somewhat limited articulation, but they look great on the shelf. It's a different company philosophy targeted at a certain type of collector.

he couldn’t mean war dog because he used the word diecast! I have both and I hate to say it but although I like the Fanstoys figure I think the war dog is a more secure figure. Unfortunately both have wonky shoulders. I still think word looks like a cool beefed up version of warpath on steroids and he reminds me of the transformers animated version of warpath they showed on one episode. I do think that Sheridan is one of their worst figures they’ve ever released probably the worst As quality is concerned.

Just so you know, everything before this figure seems super salad to me and I have almost everything Fanstoys has made. I’m a little nervous going forward with some of their big figures. It seems like they found a new factory that’s having some issues cutting corners. It looks like Fanstoys needs to get in there and really oversee their figures for a while to make sure they’re following the quality control of their previous releases.

I think you should stay away from master pieces.
    And buy mainlines from Hasbro.
    Those are easy to transform.
I mean, Sheridan is one of the most easiest of mp to transform.
And you have troubles with it.
Try mp-36 megatron, or even better, mp-44 Prime.
I think your head will explode.

It's not a new factory. It's the first figure after Chinese New Year. That's not always a good indicator, but this issue is common across companies. FT Arcee among others were figures released after CNY and that one too had some looseness issues. Iceman, which comes after this in comparison seems a lot better.

Every CNY, a lot of workers would quit an existing factory and new ones will join. New people means existing knowledge has been lost and they need to be trained up again.
By the time Magnum comes around, most of the bad QC will be gone. It's a good thing Astrotrain is later this year.

Unscrewing did the trick for me, I hope you'll be lucky if you disassemble it.

What I understand it shouldn’t matter if it’s 3 mm or 3.5. There’s a rivet that breaks and you’re putting a permanent screw to hold the pieces together. If you want to be safe by both. It’ll probably cost you about $.10 for both.

No way even in the lowest depths of Hell is FT Warpath worse than BC Warpath.

So does FT Sheridan. You didn't say whether the legs were attached or not ;)

Has anyone received a Sheridan shipped with the fix/good screw in place? If so, is the leg loose/wobbly?

I finally received my replacement screw and repaired mine, but the leg still wiggles. Just getting it in place was frustrating, I broke 2 spudgers trying to get that little knee piece flipped open (as shown in Paik's vid), and even cut myself on the fig trying to do so. Never got it open, but got the screw in as tight as humanly possible but it is still loose. Receiving a fig broken right out of the box, waiting for a fix you have to do yourself only to not have it resolve the issue is straight BS.

Hell, I had to procure the screw locally (thanks Toy Dojo), as Show Z was going to charge me $15 to ship it. I just messaged Show Z indicating I'd like a replacement or refund.
