Seems fine to me, though I never had an official MP11 mold to compare it to. I actually have YM for the 3 original seekers (Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp) and was considering selling some off, but unsure yet. I keep Starscream in bot mode and the other 2 in alt modes (which is incredible in my opinion). Joints are fine, and the nosecone/torso area supposedly locks in better than in the official, though my TC has some issues on that part though. Starscream and Skywarp are fine however.

 

How 'bout an upscaled to voyager Robots in Disguise (2015) Bludgeon  ?

 

Can I ask a Combiner Wars KO question? Were the likes of Ratchet, Mirage, Ironhide, Sunstreaker Prime Brakedown etc ever knocked off? I.e. the non Scramble City guys.

I think a lot of people would like those.

 

I wonder if 3P will eventually make a version of those. They will run out of Combiners eventually.  

 

There's a lot of cannon redecoes they could do in addition. The "sprinkles" redecoes were nice, but they could do an Ironhide redeco of that Ratchet, seekers, Nexus Prime, that Japanese Defensor redeco everybody wants...

 

Thanks to @SirToys for the find. Unfortunately both Megatron and Cryotek snapped to pieces in shipping. I really, REALLY like this size of Beast Wars. I have wanted actual Basic sized Beast Wars figures to put in my pocket for at least 20 years now, if not longer. Too bad the plastic quality is absolute shite. But the molds clearly existed once upon a time. I wish Black Mamba or someone could scoop them up and make them not suck.

Is anybody else experiencing severe delays in SirToys orders? I completely understand the shipping world is crazy because of COVID19, and I have been in contact with the seller. I've got one order (2 deluxe bots) over two months sitting at the Chinese airport, and another (3 deluxe bots) sitting at another Chinese airport. Other Chinese orders made since then from Ebay and some other sellers have made it though or at least hit the States. Anybody else with such a severe delay?

 

I've had a couple of orders from Aliexpress where the last update was on March 14th. That was when they were handed over to the airline. I check 17track every few days but there's been no change.

 

Pretty normal... you can't blame the shipper once it has been dispatched... mail sucks these days.

Got a bro in Mexico that cannot ship me stuff to California yet... sad times.

 

I ordered a bunch of KO goodies off Aliexpress on 04/15, and it all arrived in two separate parcels this week. Then I got crazy and ordered stuff off eBay from 05/10-05/14. and it's all starting to clear import customs, one is already here in FL.

(Not boasting, just sharing that stuff seems to be moving pretty decently.)

 

Does anybody know how long it usually takes to get a tracking number from SirToys? I understand it may take longer due to current circumstances but under normal circumstances how long are we talking about?

 

Most times, your package is already in the mail before a tracking number is reported... dude is a 1-man operation, and may have dropped off parcels already, and traveling to other locations on the hunt for people like us... he may not be home for a week, and when he's home is when he can update the site with your tracking info.

Honestly, the China Post tracking numbers I get from Sirtoys don't usually even update until AFTER I the order has already arrived (so after around 2 weeks, which is how long it normally would take an order to reach me in Quebec with EMS shipping). In that sense, the tracking is not very useful... unless a package gets lost, I guess (which has never happened to me).

Maybe the tracking will be more useful now that shipments are taking longer than usual... maaaaaybe.

Assuming shipping and deliveries are rolling on-time of course. Which they aren't.

I shipped a small parcel just from Montreal to Etobicoke with Can Post on May 8th... STILL hasn't shown up!  


But seriously, Sirtoys is pretty great. I've never lost a package, and Paul has always been good about any issues or damage (within reason, considering the junky quality of some KO items).

When I ship out a bigger package of items, the shipping cost tends to spread out nicely, and I've never been burned by customs.
