Since I have not used AJ in awhile, they still do not charge for preorders until they ship, correct?

damn the paint/lack of paint looks to be consistent with mpm 07 (?) Megatron. bare grey plastic with gold at the mouth only. Seriously looking like hasbro decided on the paint job on a takara design as someone mentioned.

I'll likely get it to support the MPM line, but damn I'm waiting for a ko os repaint just like I did for mpm megs. I don't like to double dip but the lack of paint is borthering me and yet it's a principle of mine to not get any KO unless I have the official already.... I seriously wish at this price they can put proper paint on it.

Looks good but it also looks barley any different from the old Leader Class figure. I'm fine with the leader figure.

One thing that bugs me about the MPM line is how they leave the diecast parts completely unpainted or without a decent finish on them. It always makes the toy look unfinished to me. I'd appreciate if they took the approach a lot of other Japanese toy companies do and put a gunmetal grey polished finished on top. That finish is both pretty wear-resistant and it doesn't look like bare scrap metal.

Not to mention that Takara sold the Leader figure as a Masterpiece sometime ago.

IF I can get this guy for $150, I'm all in. But I have a bad feeling about Target's website.

He does look great, but I need to wait to see if there are any engineering/quality control issues before I drop some rupees on this guy.

Yeah those unpainted die-cast pieces dont really do the figure any favours. Otherwise I think it looks great!

Im not one to complain about paint. But for a premium product this looks like it\'s from the studio series line. The lack of a finish really stands out. Especially on the dull grey and tan weapons

Honestly, I just pre-ordered through Amazon JP at the discounted price (around $130). I doubt there would be very much of a difference. Besides, even after shipping it'll likely be cheaper than the US version after taxes.

I’ve only used AJ to order Japanese Switch Games, I’m not sure how to order actual shipped things from it. Is there a guide on the boards?

Definitely not feeling the bare diecast shoulders. At least the diecast on the other MPMs was in areas that were supposed to be metal.
