Also, I'm not sure if they have Miniso stores in NY - it's sort of an upscale "Japanese style" dollar store - but they were carrying many of the MB line of upscaled Legends figures on cheap blister cards, including Powerglide. It's possible you might be able to source that figure locally at Asian-style dollar shops.

There is also a blue version, which I believe Sirtoys also carries.

I wonder if there’s anything like that in Chicagoland.

I have them. They're not bad - much better in train mode than bot mode. They're pretty hollow so bot mode only looks good from certain angles.

I'm not sure if the website is actually accurate. It doesn't list the stores we have locally here in Quebec, so their online listing isn't complete. There might be some in eastern US cities too.

LOL, yeah... they're Chinese. That's why I described them as a "Japanese-style" dollar store... because they're clearly imitating similar shops in Japan.

They do have some cool stuff. The repackaged Machine Boy OSKO legends are the only robot toys I've seen there though.

They're so successful at copying that other chains like Yubiso and Mumuso are copying them. Talk about KO of a KO. That's not even 4th party, that's like 5th party...at least.

Someone in a Facebook KO collector's group found these Centuritron KOs in a store called Debbie's Dollar in Michigan. I looked on Sirtoys and couldn't find a version like this that remolded the helicopter into a VTOL. To me, that could be an improvement since the combiner's head gets cleaned up.

Edit: Apparently the same store has oversized KOs of the Chopshop and Venom targetmasters.

Does anyone remember those KO 3P stunticons? I recall chatting about them here a few years ago.

You mean the big, simplified cheap ones that were designed to combine with an OS version of a 3P Hotspot?

Oh is that it was. I remember seeing a KO Stunticon in Malaysia and asking about it here. But don't remember the outcome.

Aww man, I cant watch a 40 min video.

How about just some quick pics for scale? It was cheap quality Kool, just like the OSKO TFC superion for its time.

What's going on everybody sold off 90% of my collection about a year ago. One of the things I regret selling is my Takara Coronation Screamer. Does anybody have a source for a new KO Screamer can be Takara KO or even a KO of the Maketoys Meteor...

Unfortunately no KO of Maketoys Meteor exists, even tho Maketoys is one of the few 3P companies (along with a Generation Toy and DX9) that is occasionally knocked off...

Id recommend the Yes Model MP11 since it comes with a coronation set. It’s a KO of MP11 that goes for around $60-80 I think? Meteor is often $200-300 so it’s pretty overpriced now.

Preorder here but you may find it in stock elsewhere.
    [Pre-Order] Yes Model YM-03P MP11 Starscream w/o Linear Definition

Edit: in stock here. I actually bought this from this website last year. Took about 1.5 months to arrive but otherwise was well packed.

Thanks!! Was actually thinking about trading or selling my DX9 Carry, Quakewave or my Spark Toys War Within OP to get my hands on a Screamer

Those are all great bots (DX9 Carry is still my favorite "fiddle" bot, love its engineering and sculpt even if it's not G1 accurate), but I think they are all worth more than a YM Starscream. Also keep in mind that the YM version is considered superior to the official MP11 as they made some improvements over both the official and original KO. Meteor is still considered to be better (much cleaner sculpt) but I don't like its face sculpt and has some weird wing issues. Still probably better but in my opinion not worth the money discrepancy at its after market prices.
