It is encouraging. The vocal minority goes on and on about how terrible the toys are (or how they could be better, at least); the silent majority goes out, buys stuff, and enjoys it.

 

We're on our second batch of NF deluxes in my local WM. First one sold out in a couple days. This one is already out of Chromias and Scrapfaces.

 

Yup, my Wal-mart also restocked both sizes the other day, and they had all sold prior to being restocked.

 

Still have yet to see the deluxes at my local store. You would think as much of these guys that are popping up in stores (in displays no less) that they might eventually show up at Walmart.com again.

 

Tried searching this thread and there's also only one deluxe review (Sideswipe). Can anyone tell me what the extra card is that was in the box with Mirage (only one I've gotten) behind the trifold part that you see through the window? It's flat and has slits with letters labeled like you're supposed to put it together with ones that come in the other boxes maybe?

edit: Nevermind, found this on TFwiki "each figure in the Deluxe Class assortment includes a piece of a cardboard Teletraan I backdrop which, once completed, can serve as a display."

 

All the Deluxe's have a cardboard piece to Teletran 1, all of Deluxe Wave 1 and 2 are needed, 10 Deluxe's total.

I don't think the Voyager's or Leader have any pieces.

 

Found a new untouched shipper today on an early morning toy run. It's the first time I've seen the deluxe figures. Grabbed Mirage and Scrapface. Past on Chromia for now. I found Megatron and hotlink earlier in the week at a different Walmart, or I would have been excited to grab those also.

 

Wait for Takara to release all preorders or order Megs and Hotlink at scalper prices on ebay (and pay insane shipping)?

US collectors, try being European for a little while and see how it feels...

 

I haven’t seen a shipper in person but how many Megatrons and Hot Links come in it ?
