This is great news! Infinitor is still one of my favorite figures so I’ll gladly upgrade to the new shiney one. Hopefully they tweaked the ratchet teeth in the arms so they aren’t quite so tight.

I picked up the Grand max version and always wanted to get Fort Max as well. I guess I'm glad I waited now.

I actually like the red door. Unlikely but it seems having the option between colors red, green, blue would be decent.

I don't know the exact dimensions, but it's essentially Leader class size. It blends right in with Combiner Wars and Titans Return Leaders.

 

Yeah what the poster posted above . God I wish armada toon would have colored all those cameos correctly and then have it be a continuation of g1

 

Assuming it's the same size as the TW version (Zeta made their IDW OP and G1 Meg just a bit taller IIRC when they re-released them after Toyworld), it's just under 9''.

 

For size comparison.. My Autobot Masterforce shelf . With the Grand Max version, Pretty good ! Sort of wish he was an inch or so bigger but it’s by far the best scaled most cartoon accurate grand max out there . Just wish there was a mini pretender shell for the headmaster .

 

Also I hate how the chest sides open on this one. They don't open for City mode and in robot mode they're pretty useless too. They should have stuck with the original transformation.

 

Isn't Grand Max Overlord height who himself is slightly taller than God Ginrai?

I've given up hope of ever getting a factory made, correctly scaled Grand Max as everyone just repaints Fort Max and that's way too big (and this is too small, even for classics) so I'm currently printing out @Printformers Fort Max design in GM colours at exactly the size I want.

 

Yeah he should be god Ginrais height , that’s why I said I wish he was an inch or so taller . But between the other two options ( the original and the titans return one ) and this , this is the best it is not only the closest in scale accuracy but the most articulated and more cartoon accurate than the titan returns repaint which is also too big . The original , is Takara grand max is cartoon accurate but too big and no where near as articulated as this one

 

You'd think that, if that was their plan, they'd offer some kinda tease concept image or fuzzy CAD model to help boost sales of this figure.
