I have no will power. I went in on most of the rest of the 1st 2 waves except Deathscythe which I will get around to later in the week. I like them, they seem to be built well, they are very poseable, and come with a decent amount of accessories, so count me in.
I got he 78 last year. And I agree that they are decent figures. No issues with mine at all, and they come with a lot of accessories for the money...at least the 78 does. I’d be in for more if they do some designs I like. I don’t care for winged Gundams much at all.
Walmart has these now , tempted to get a few. Love my old MGs but if I look at them wrong a piece falls off. Some action fig versions that can handle some playwear is needed. Am prob in the minority but hoping they do some battle damaged ones again. The old ones were nice but too small for that dramatic presence.
I just hope we get the wing suits completed. I’m holding off on Wing Gundam until we at least see Heavyarms.
I know it’s cheating but i’ve been keeping one hand popped out of the ball socket so he can still hold his sword w both hands for attack poses. These dudes make decent figs, but for $5 more you can get a Siege or SS voyager that is levels beyond this crap. Wish Bandai used the ABS stuff.
Threw some grays on Barbatos. Never heard much about him so caught some of his battles on youtube. Damn this dude’s a badass.
Been thinking about jumping in on this line, but unsure how well it will do to keep going. I've seen the teases, but Bandai can pull the plug any time if sales aren't good. $25 per figure just seems like alot right now. Does anyone know how low these have been going, specifically on Amazon? IDK if Amazon just didn't get enough in stock, but I may just end up grabbing Wing just in case since the others from the first wave have sold out there (not including 3rd party sellers).
Those are two of my all time favorite Gundams. I’m still not convinced with buying into this line though.
Yeah, I just do not get this line and how it's still going. From what I've gathered among both casual and dedicated Gundam fans this line has been such a non-event. I've never even seen these things on shelves anywhere except at a Walgreens, exactly once, tucked into a back corner behind loads of Avengers tat.
I think the best place to sell it is in airports used for layovers to and from Japan. They seem best as souvenirs you'd get somewhere like that aimed at casual fans
I've never seen them at Walmart or Target, granted with Gunpla being sold at Target now I see no reason to care to look for Universe figures.
I just want the Wing TV suits in the near 1/100-ish scale they are in. That's all I'm in for. Also some G stuff that isn't covered in the MG line if possible.
So these are Universe releases in 12th scale? If so, that's awesome. For me anyway, this line has been a welcomed addition to my collection and it's great to see it continue.
They should be easy to find at Walmart, they are stocked with the other pop culture kitsch in the video game section.
