Zeta/ToyWorld plastic is very dense and resilient and even has a little bit of give to it. That said, my Orion (Optimus) did fracture at the hinge on one of his chest panels because it was such a harsh pivot. As long as that doesn't happen here, you'll have plenty of good years with it. Even with the hairline fracture, the rest of the figure (and that panel) was rock solid. I had no other problems with him.

Okay, yeah, I love Marvel Max, so I'm extremely interested in this. He looks like he'd be decently sized to square off against Botcon Scorponok.

I consider the plastic quality to be good. Nothing feels light and it hasnt broken. It doesnt feel like a KO, and the joints are all tight. Id say its on par with Hasbro quality. Whats funny is its basically a downsized KO of G1 fort max with articulation. But they did a great job in my opinion. (Toyworld) I cant speak for Zeta Toys version but the deco does look nice. Only downside is no sword. You will have to buy one that might not necessarily be G1 style from Dr. Wu or whoever. Or if youre a rebirth fan, no sword needed youre good. As far as scale, Grant is the version to own. However the fort max version is nice if you just want a representation of the character, and dont care about scale.

Extremely interested in this, was going to pick up an Infinitor but the metallic paints and a reissue potentially being cheaper and easier to even find works. It will be a little short with a PmOp Prime but otherwise I just need an equal Scorponok

So with this at about 9 inches, I'm assuming this'll scale pretty nice with Siege/Earthrise stuff as a Marvel Comics-sized Fort Max?

Not a fan of the metallic deco, so won't be holding up hopes for a Grant (which unlike Infinitor does need a redo, the guy's so bland).

I would still love to have a good classics scale Black Zarak. Anywhere between 9 and 12 inch would work for me.

That's still a cool mold. I may have to consider this route as well.

When I read the title I was excited thinking of a new titan class Fortress Maximus...
Anyway, I always skipped the Toyworld version, but I don't remember if it was only for the size or there was something I didn't like in the mold. Have to check some video reviews...
The Grand repaint should be a good match for my Make toys God Ginrai, so this might be the incentive I need to buy the figure. The lack of the sword and a suitable Black Zarak toy is bad, though.
Of course, pricing too is going to be a very important factor.

I was hoping for 60 euro while fearing it would be 100. It's 70 euro shipped, so it's not too bad in the end, although I'm a bit confused about why shipping to Germany is 6 euro while to Italy is 22.

Don't they still have the original at Actionfiguren24? You can probably get it cheaper from them if they still have it.

Looks like it's available but for 100 euro. I'll keep track of that store, though, especially now that shopping from UK it's going to become expensive next year.

Now, for anyone who has the figure, di the hands have 5mm ports? I have an extra Master Sword from Hasbro that might work with him.

Ugh! I forget how pricey they are. I thought they had him on constant discount. But even their discounts are still pricey compared to other shops.
