Doing this also negates the 5mm port on his back that all WFC figures have and that port is intended to be used with the Weaponizer/micromaster base figures for them to combine with. Can you take off the car part and still attach something? Yes which in the end still makes him parts form.

I'm not collecting Micromasters either, but I feel differently about Modulators.

When I bought my first Ironworks it was a real "Flaming Homer" moment.
I thought "it's not without its charm" but it was just okay.

I bought a second one, because I wanted to try replicating the artwork on Ironworks' packaging, and that's when it caught fire for me, so to speak.



Expanding the floorplan, adding more ramps and using the second crane as a block of machinery really improved the Construction Station mode in every way.

I didn't want to wreck what I had already improved, so I added a third Ironworks to be an adjoining Comms Tower.

I've re-purposed part of Cyberverse Spark Armor Battle Class Shockwave's satellite armour to be my "nobucks" radar array. I think I'm going to buy at least one Shockwave Lab SL-75, to have a dedicated radar for Ironworks, but I think my nobucks solution works a treat.



I look forward to expanding from here with a bunch of Soundbarrier roads (that go nowhere, yet) and maybe creating an upward curved runway for launching ships into space (like the one used to launch the Blue Earth in the '90's anime Tekkaman Blade.)

Even without any Micromasters, I'm having a ball with these Modulators!
