His electronics don't work and he had a broken panel when I got him, now glued back into place, but Leader Class Starscream is a thing of beauty. I'm actually glad I got him after the Studio Series one, because the size is more impressive, and the little features like the flip-out arm weapons feel more like extra features, rather than something that was lost. 20200519_171051.jpg 20200519_171134.jpg 20200519_171153.jpg 20200519_171712.jpg 20200519_171918.jpg 20200519_172101.jpg 20200519_172152.jpg 20200519_172309.jpg 20200519_172409.jpg 20200519_172441.jpg

Does anyone have a OnePlus 8 Pro? I saw a video the other day saying how one of the cameras on the new OnePlus 8 Pro can actually be used as like an X-Ray camera. It can see through stuff like plastic, which is cool. But the downside is that it can also see through stuff like clothes. Which obviously raised some concerns. OnePlus has said they're going to disable it in a future update. And this was a few days ago. So for all I know this request may be moot by now. But I was wondering if anyone happens to have a OnePlus 8 Pro, could you snap some pics of Transformers with the X-Ray filter and see if it works? Like can you see the inner moldings and pins and screws and whatnot? And if so, try it with a few Transformers of different eras. We always hear complaints about Hasbro using progressively thinner and cheaper plastic over the years. Perhaps this could be put to the test. Is it easier to see through say a Cyberverse figure vs a Beast Wars figure for example? Or how about an official Hasbro toy vs a third party figure?

I wish Ironhide had been painted like this in the movies. Nice reference to his G1 counterpart without being slavish.

Thanks! Those started as an accident. I moved him from the display to get to some other figure, plopped him out of the way, and started tinkering. Next thing I know there's this creepy shadow looming over me lol.

Generations Arcee is almost impressive. I like the colors, the weapons, and the articulation. However, the anatomically correct midriff looks weird on a space robot that turns into a car, and the arms look a smidge too frail. It's still good, but it could have been better if it had been made to look less dainty. At least it doesn't partsform.

Plus she can be made to look like a real badass with some proper posing.

The Decepticon ships had a cool design and I hope Studio Series manages to work them in eventually (the "mothership" too). Like make it an army builder generic or something.

Although that'd almost certainly leave out the best part of the original toy:

A throne mode that's rather conveniently sized for other toys to sit on.

    Ebay:
i feel this arcee looks much better than the upcoming one. the bits of black really break up all the whites and pinks on her. i also think she has a better face and alt mode shape.

only downside is her hands. i had to use a knife to trim the "shelves" in her palms out so her weapons slide all the way down.
