Got my MB Astray Red Frame Kai Alternative the other week from HLJ. And it's missing a piece on the back that goes over the back connector. I posted it on Reddit and I've been in touch with HLJ. They told me that they'll try to get it resolved, but even if they do get a replacement part, they won't be able to send me anything until after the issues with EMS clear up.
I guess you already checked the box? Mine was also not attached to the main figure but was sitting loose in the styrofoam box.
Yes, I checked the box and everything. I thought it was some sort of lock for the backpack/tactical arms. Fortunately, everything seems to work without it.
That's a weird coincidence. My only issue so far with an MB (knock on wood) was that my Arbalest came with two left hands for a gun holding position. They sent me a new one, but I also had to package up and send the old one back. Worked out in the end.
Really hoping I don't have to send the whole thing back. This is my second Metal Build. My first one was EVA Unit-01 and I had absolutely zero issues with it.
I've never had any issues with the ~17 Metal Builds + ~5 option sets that I've bought, but my brother has had issues with 3/5 that he gotten: 1) Red Frame Flight pack was missing the front grey vents on the top piece of the Flight Pack; he bought through TFSource so he contacted Bluefin and got a replacement part 2) Freedom v1 was missing the "polycap" that was under the movable backpack thruster for the display stand to plug in; he got it off of eBay so couldn't do anything; fortunately there's other display stand options for him. 3) Gold Frame Amatsu had one right hand where the peg hole was too small to fit over wrist-peg; I carefully drilled out the hole to enlarge it and it worked out ok.
Neat! but I was kinda hoping they'd do the gold frame amatsu perfect form. Hopefully that's sometime down the road and with the announcement of this, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Well, given the fact they haven't bothered with the Blue Frame 2nd and Launcher pack, I'm not sure if this will come up any time soon.
Don't even know why they even have a Tamashii Nations page on the US P-Bandai website if their not gonna bother with anything. If anything, I just pray it's not Japan Exclusive, if it is, pre-orders are gonna be a pain...
I will for sure be passing on the white Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Hana, so that's one less in the competition for you guys to get it! Once I get that Blue Frame Second L Revise, I'm probably done with Metal Build Astrays. I'd consider getting option sets, but with the Red Frame + Flight Unit, the Gold Frame Amatsu, and the Blue Frame Second L, I'm all Astray'ed out. The Red Frame option sets and the Blue Frame (weapons set) are just bonus to me at this point.
You know after Bandai made the GFFMC Wing Zero and it took multiple runs of a webshop exclusive to meet the demand you would think they would do more Wing stuff. Man the power of SEED is too strong Japan. And if they are doing SEED I'm still waiting on any form of the justice.
Well they did tease the justice at the same time they originally teased the freedom 2.0 so that might come someday. Or it'll never see the light of day again like the Lancelot, and the arm slave booster.
The master grade Epyon showed me what that design in could look like with modern engineering and it is glorious. Now if Bandai could get around to making it in GFFMC or MB form I would be quite thrilled. One of these days that Justice will see the light of day. Athrun was too popular not to.
