I look forward to more dull lighting & pointless human subplots.

Animation doesn't look too bad, but I'm not interested in the plot. It's yet another case of humans stuck on an island waiting to be rescued hile the dinosaurs are having a party outside their paddocks.

This seems to be aimed at kids, so I assume there won't be any gore and few character deaths if any. Seems like that would sap most of the tension the JP/JW franchise is known for.

Of course not! It could still be a great show. I'm just musing that it won't be very on-brand.

When I saw the title, I just assumed it was an educational show for very young kids, but the trailer and description kinda indicates this may be more in line with Star Wars The Clone Wars

Gonna take a wild guess and suggest it might have something to do with selling toys and merchandise.

I was interested based on the teaser trailer, but those character designs don’t really match the tone or the aesthetic of that teaser, and now my interest is declining.

Ugh. It's a shame that they went with that tired animation style. I'm sure my kids will love it because it's JP/dinosaurs, but I sure wish Netflix would put some effort into something.

Why would you put such cutesy kid designs with the same scary looking dinosaur designs? It’s so jarring. That’s like putting Trolls designs in Pirates of the Caribbean, only lazier.

Yea, the character designs look like they were designed for video game like 10 years ago. And, the dinosaurs look totally out of place. Pick one. Do you want it really kiddy? Or do you want it really gritty and realistic? Pick one. You can not have both.

Looks fine to me. As long as the story and voice acting is good, I can deal with cartoony.
I'm just excited we're getting some more Jurassic universe building. My favorite franchise after Transformers.
