ughh. the #SnyderCut dipshits were insufferable before & now they've actually gotten their way. "Justice League" is awful and no amount of cutting or recutting can polish that turd.
Most of that is Whedon, though. At minimum, it will be a three hour slog. No "thirsty women", botox Bruces or, CG insert Gadots. According to Snyder, the theatrical movie is only one-fourth his.
There's a cohesive trilogy of films. Justice League fucking sucked. Some parts felt like Scary Movie: DC Edition.
Absolutely nothing. Might make for even better riffing though. "In a world darker than dark......" I think that's just Snyder using a Filter Is that what happened to the colors?

I have mixed feeling on this. On one hand, it is pretty neat that an artist is getting to realize his original vision. If I had worked for years on a project and had it be tinkered with beyond recognition, I'd want people to see my original intent also. That being said, I can't help but feel like this will end up being less good than it is in the mind of the people who have been asking for the Snyder Cut. People didn't like the existing cut and people didn't like Batman v. Superman. And there's a strong chance that 2 plus 2 will equal 4. I feel like this will end up being a disappointment, because fans have probably been creating a better movie in their heads for the past three years. Part of me wonders if it should have just stayed in their heads. It seems like a lot of money and manpower to spend on something that will probably mostly serve as a reminder that Zack Snyder wasn't a great fit for this brand. I'm a bit concerned about the larger ramifications of giving in to the Snyder Cut movement. The thing is, studio tampering isn't an uncommon thing in Hollywood. Like, I'd be interested in seeing what was cut from Transformers 5 or from Pacific Rim 2. Or I'd like to see a shorter cut of the Hobbit movies that's closer to Peter Jackson's original vision, before WB insisted it be 3 movies. There are a lot of "what could have been" situations. But I'm not going to start a Twitter hashtag and pester the studios for three years. At some point you just have to deal with the fact that what you got is what you got. The fact that these people couldn't deal...and ended up getting what they begged for...is a little bit disturbing to me.
Well, for me, I understand BvS a lot better with the director's cut, but if nothing else, maybe they'll improve on cgi out Cavill's mustache, lol.
Not sure why this thread was not posted in the hbo max thread. As for me good for his fans. He made the worst pa kent in movie history and bvs was the biggest crap movie I have ever saw so I won't be watching any more dc movies from him. At the same time I have no trouble with them making this for those who do like his films. As much as I hated bvs i'm not going to get mad if wb wants to spend millions on a another jl cut for their streaming app.
At least the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut did its purpose and the fans will stop using it. While I "slightly" liked Justice League when it came out, I still think Wheadon's cut was a mess. I don't know if Snyder's cut would be better or worse, but I will watch it.
