Hehe. Honestly though I’d be surprised if anyone actually perverted is buying Arcee for such association. Aside from Nicee they’re not particularly perverse figures, if anything they’re just cute or look really nice.
Arcee to me is too plain Jane. Chromia/Thunderblast is more of the srutty type with that under her breastplate
Wow, a Dengeki Hobby article covering MP-51's bestseller status! タカラトミー「トランスフォーマー マスターピース MP-51 アーシー」など:Amazonホビー人気ランキングBEST10
Wait this can't be right G1 Masterpiece figures are dead, there was supposed to be a dropping interest in these old school figures. Wait it's because she's a girl robot right?
That's really cool info 4Ch! I think it's actually even a little more imp than I'm immediately acknowledging. Raiden or Devestator is going to be too cool to comprehend at this point. TFs are literally the best toy line and fanbase in all toy history. If only the entire TF fandom could see that
TF collecting is on a whole other astral plane compared to that other shit ... that’s why I’m TF-exclusive, I have no desire to sully my hobby exploits with lease fare ...
I’m not buying Arcee, but the fact that they are making her gives me hope that we’ll get Kup eventually. He’s the only other movie character (besides Hot Rod) that I want.
...i want hot rod, arcee, kup, and also galvatron, cyclonus, and scourge... ...funny that i don't reflexively consider ultra magnus nor springer to be core movie characters, but they never came across as central protagonists to the narrative in the same way as those three: a step above blurr and wheelie, to be sure, but not essential to my movie crew...
That's impressive to hear considering she's getting a lot of flak here on this site or anywhere else really. Goes to show that massive amounts of angry posts isn't enough to stop a product from being a good seller.
Every MP has the same treatment. When the first images post, we get tons of Monday morning toy designers. Then the preorders go up, and a bunch of haters suddenly have a "Come to Primus" moment and preorder... then the first reviews are posted and people get galvanized as either "This thing is perfect" or "____ is too much, I'm out". Then the mass release happens, and tons of people who were haters are now scrambling to find one at preorder prices. It's been that way since MP12. Luckily, especially with more recent releases, Hasbro has been speedy fast at supplying more product.
Well... I don't want to take anything negative I have said of MP51 back. But I suppose it could've been worse. And this one doesn't have transform into a car.
Lol. You tried so hard to not complain about Arcee that you had to complain about a completely different toy from a completely different brand just to make the effort work? Hahahaha
Are those paid or POd? Regardless, the 20 or so noisy "VS" posts here mean nothing to Takara as they DON'T EVAH support the franchise anyway (come on, "cartoon accuracy" being used as a soap box is like saying the G1 cartoon production values had consistent quality control to Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa). If they do then proof is in the eating, show us that they actually own at least 10 MPS. (KOs not included) Yup! I doubt it those "twitterati" EVAH support a franchise anyway. Just ask Post Disney Star Wars toys. No demand at all (search for the full story related to Diamond Distribution) despite claims otherwise. The Lucas prequel and main trilogy products (just ask Hasbro) especially the Black series with the main trilogy toys are selling like hotcakes. Hope springs eternal. Me? I'm waiting on Elita-1 first.
x Infinity. Also, don't forget, she ain't "cartoon accurate". I don't get the April O'Neil reference. If you are criticizing on her "cartoon accuracy", I'm with you on that, even the 4 Horsemen MoTU attempts at Filmation accuracy blows (Teela was a dumpster fire). Why our American artists/sculptors are always a miss when it comes to action figures is a mystery to me. Mafex, SHF Bandai and Figma always gets them right.
You joke but these days that's not necessarily a terrible idea. If it's done by one of the companies that improves upon figures and they see the complaints on the face and chest and does something to make them better, there's a real possibility that a KO might be superior. Hell, a lot of people are buying the KO Hound just to get a copy of the figure that doesn't disintegrate - and I've seen several posts from people who indicated that they were anti-KO but Takara had fucked up Hound so badly that they no longer felt guilty purchasing a KO. Personally, I'm buying the real one, but if a KO comes out that improves the figure, I'll probably end up getting that too.
