Beat me on this one! A great option for Big Convoy Fans.

 

Was there any molding changes between the original Big Convoy and the reissue? I have the original and am considering this

 

Ah so that's the name, cause it escapes me when I was writing it, so I just went with the name in the picture. Request thread name change for the mammoth to Big Convoy please.

 

Pretty cool. Hopefully they do one for Blue Big Convoy as well.

I like the look of Anime Encore Big Convoy so much more than the straight reissue. But then they gave the reissue the Matrix Buster.

This cuts the difference pretty nicely.

 

It's slightly remolded with some fine or more pointy details. Additionally, the top cannon crown is removable and the long handle can rotate so you can use it in either Big Convoy's right or left arm.

 

2 questions
1) Whether this can be used by other figures
2) I hope it's not too heavy.

 

I never compared my original with the Encore release side by side, but there weren’t any mold difference that I noticed.

He was referring to the Big Convoy figure.

 

I always thought that was an odd call. Why release a toy-deco Big Convoy with a new Matrix Buster accessory when you released an anime-deco version of BC not long ago?

This is a godsend for those who REALLY wanted to give their anime-deco Big Convoy his Matrix Buster, but they REALLY didn't want to shell out $100+ for a Big Convoy who has the wrong deco.

(Incidentally, as I typed this, I just realized that Big Convoy's initials are "BC", and mammoths came from the B.C. era of Earth.  )

 

I'll have to do a side by side pic comparison before I'll preorder, but the fact that you can switch the handle around is a big improvement over the official, and the fact that I already have the original figure in toy colors, is what pushed me away from owning the exact same figure twice just to get that mammoth accessory.

 

BBTS has its pre-order at $26.99, which seems fantastic.

 

What's Navi

 

DNA usually adds some sort of bonus to their kits if enough people ask for it. If enough people mention it to them they might add Navi to this kit.

Although I might prefer a separate kit that would also include the NAVI from BWII and other similar AIs like AI from Car Robots and Teletraan X from Cyberverse.

Any Big Convoy mold or redeco is compatible with the official Matrix Buster. There are some slightly inner remold in the Encore version like the new Matrix, different connector for the legs weapons, and new connectors for the mammoth feet to make them easy to remove and connect the new mechanic parts, but the mold perse is the same. As we can see, DNA Matrix fits in Encore Anime colors, it can be placed in any other mold for sure.

Navi comes MP lioconvoy right? I\'m gonna need a navi for my BW shelf.
