So I found some cool pics the other day online while trying to get inspiration for my "steampunk" colors to choose for the ugly robots.
I found about 4 different pics of optimus, bee, megatron, and soundwave, done up like they were on earth during the wild west.
Loved the soundwave one because, he's soundwave AND he turns into an old timey piano.
AWESOME!! What could be better than THAT because he's my fave bot AND I just so happen to play piano!
But I had issues with the pic. Mostly, his head. He looks like he's wearing a Mary Poppins hat so I decided to just redraw the whole caboodle and make it look the right. Plus I didn't like the green in the background.
So I started... Finished! Now time for ink! Colors!! Didn't like the green so went with flames instead Then added background Then MORE color!
I've drawn all my life and I've never had a drawing that I liked so much that I wanted to enlarge it and put it in a frame and hang it on the wall until this one, so I DID!! 16x20 and I think it looks good riiight about; here!

Those are some pretty good pictures! I like the one you did with the colors and the added flames, it looks like he could easily be Soundwave from the old Hearts of Steel series! I also like the original picture you based it off of. It gives me an old New Orleans jazz theme like Soundwave is ready to hit the Mardi Gras blues scene!

 

Thanks! I never saw hearts of steel but I do remember a couple of the toys.
I wouldn't mind a toy of this guy!

Eh, some of it won’t sell unless it’s cheap lol the rest   well it’s ebay, and when there are 16 people watching a figure that already has 10 bids on it two days before the listing ends...things tend to get out of hand lol  

My masterpiece Ultra magnus ended up selling for $250 when a new one usually goes for around $189 because two dudes decided they’re REALLY wanted it about an hour before the auction was supposed to end.

 

I would like to have gotten the Armada Meg's.
