Ah crap, I just bought something from him a few days ago. Does anyone know the best process for handling this? Do I go through ebay or paypal?

 

Personally, I'll probably just wait until after the delivery window. I'm hoping it's just a COVID delay, he does still have more positive than negative in the last month.

 

One guy in the fanstoys forum posted the sponge the seller sent. Up to you..

So, how can I claim scammer with ebay now? They just keep telling me to wait until the delivery window is over.

 

I think you're better off going through Paypal, just follow the directions at the bottom of CM's first post here. China Ebay Seller Check - New-comers READ FIRST POST!! I think you still might have to wait for estimated delivery time though cause they don't really speed it up even when it's a known scammer. I had to sit around for a month and then one guy tried to fight the claim. I'd take screen caps of all the feedback and relevant info now in case it all goes private or you need to send anything to Paypal later. I've always gotten my money back in the end though.

News update of my order.
The guy i've ordered hoodlum on e-bay is a scammer.
Now i have to wait a whole month first and then issue to get my money back.
80 bucks for hoodlum these days is farfetched.

As pissed as I know some of you that dealt with that guy are, I'm just as confused as to..a sponge? Why send anything at all?

 

So there's a tracking number active while they move the money out of their account.

 

Ah man that bites. Just another reason why I don't fool with chinese sellers. But, I guess if you really want the figure and it's not anywhere else, that's your only option.

 

It is better to file your refund claim through Paypal so that you got your money back in 10 days or less.
