I'm glad to have cancelled the PO, too many issues, it's like a Russian Roulette.

 

Finally mine has arrived. Not much of complain on the figure itself. The hood, backpack and lower foot is not transformed properly, so you gotta adjust it. I like the fact that they even painted the gold ascent on the "palm" which is accurate to their CGI model



Never thought that I could balance him on just one hand. Feel weird of myself when attempting this posture


Head sculpt. Visor on vs visor off. Visor off for a Bayverse bot is a no go. Same goes to Roadbuster

Its hard to tell from pics but, they looked like ribbons. Kind of like fiberglass.

Whatever the hell they did, was not cool. The color isnt even accurate.

 

I may have been incorrect earlier.

I rubbed some of the trouble spots very firmly (enough to make them get warm) and it did not seem to make a difference.
However looking at the figure now I am having a hard time seeing any of the marks

They may have worn off in the process of transforming him, or maybe I'm just not getting him in the right angle to see them. Either way they are hard to spot unless you are looking for them.


My only real issue with him now is the fact that mine came missing a headlight and with the chest partially miss-assembled. I have fixed the chest assembly but am still waiting on a replacement part. I purchased the figure through Johosontony on eBay, who I believe is a secondary account of uncleBilly, so hopefully a reliable seller.

 

Mine arrived today, overall good figure for a pretty sweet price. I got what I was expecting, a ko MPM a little over half the price of the original. I had the original, and in terms of plastic quality, from what I remember, they seem pretty similar.
My copy is not without issues, the knees and hips are super loose, but luckily that’s an easy fix. There are a couple areas where the paint looks scuffed and scratched, it’s pretty minor and hard to see on camera. Luckily, I didn’t have any breakages so far, that long screw issue, or some intense paint scuffing.

I got him for $50, and For an MPM like this, it’s still a pretty good deal. The missing headlight issue is definitely unfortunate, hopefully I’ll be able to contact Terry for a replacement. Overall, the original felt better imo, but this one is good for $40-$50, especially if you get one with minor issues.

 

It's amazing how many issues has a lot of people with this figure... scratches, paint issues, screw issues, mìssing pieces... WTF... In my opinion this could be the worst figure of the year.

Yeah..... I’m skipping this thing for sure. What horrible QC. You can cry to the mountain tops that “it’s a KO tho” but come on. Look at Legendary toys, their bee costs less than this guy and has better QC and quality than the official. WTF happened to BMB under the new brand name?

I got mine from Terry. Thought mine was missing a headlight out of the box but thankfully it was just loose in the packaging. After transformation I ended up having to super glue the two headlights and a mirror, but it looks fine overall. Had some swirls on the paint that rubbed off with a towel.

Yes, I cancelled the PO, I don't need to have the figure to think that it's a complete disappointment. I only have to read the feedback of the owners on this thread. It's cruel but it's true.

 

Again, "worst figure this year" is a bold statement from someone who doesn't even have first hand experience. Overall it's becoming a little tiring that people in this thread who are bashing the figure the most never had it in hand while people who actually own it mostly think that it's not that bad/pretty good.

Anyway, my 2nd copy from Aliexpress is somewhat moving and I hope to receive it within 1-2 weeks  

 

definitely not worst of the year, but can't blame those that don't own it. What we see is a bunch of QC issues, of course we wouldn't want to buy it.

It's also of note to say that when you spend money on something, you're more likely to defend it to convince yourself it was worth it. I imagine it's not that strong with this figure, but there definitely is a tiny bit of it that is probably present. Tho you just flat out got a lucky good copy so I don't blame you for liking it.

 

I'm new to ordering things from China in a way i've only been ordering from the likes of tf-direct and bababobo for about 5 months. Is CNE (i don't know what CNE is) the preferred shipping method for these china retaillers?

 

Anyone got this ko jazz in hand and dont want it? I'll take it barring it ain't missing parts or broken
