Most of them were only printed and painted by me, Megatron is the most complex and interesting one. He is a mockup of several 3D models with a pinch of my own engineering. This was one of my first prints. Shockwave fits into 5mm ports, he's compatible with CHUG figures. Link to the project Part 2 - Soundwave Printed on FDM printer in various sizes (the medium one is the best in my opinion) I have a version that was printed on my SLA printer, but haven't painted that one yet. Link do the original project on thingiverse Part 3 - Megatron As I said it's a mockup made from several projects. The thing is that there isn't any CHUG compatible Megatron to print so I had to make one myself. I found the main gun body, scaled it down and split some of the parts. I also added necessary 5mm pegs and ports. Then I found a separate G1 Megatron scope replacement and added it on the top. The silencer is made by Printformers and originally it was made for Weijiang Megamaster. Finally I modeled the stock myself and added a little hinge at the base. The handle separates into 3 main parts. When detached the middle parts exposes two 5mm ports. The main gun part has two panels that can be adjusted to fit bigger and smaller fists. I don't understand why "gear" characters don't already come with an accessory that represents their alt mode.
Thanks guys! Unfortunately nowadays we don't get many cons that turn into their original G1 altmodes. But I was using Siege Megatron's gun as his gun mode let's say. I've kinda chosen him on purpose lol
That's not necessarily true, we've gotten just about every gear con in their g1 alt mode in one line or another in the last few years.
Okay, in Siege Shockwave and Reflector look pretty good, but Soundwave without upgrades is just a flying brick. The prime wars gave us Soundwave, but he doesn't look that good being a Blaster repaint. I'm working on Reflector and Blaster, but I haven't thought about Sixshot, great idea!
But Titans return soundwave is a radio and MP megs is a gun, remember, I said in one line or another. The idea that they ever stopped making gear characters, specifically cons is nonsense. I was just trying to be nice about it and not outright say you're wrong.
