I was really starting to dig into collecting - Masterpiece transformers, Marvel Legends, the new G.I. Joe line - and then the shut-down happened. I'm trying to make good decisions with my money, given then uncertainty of the economy, and so when I do order or pre-order something, I'd like to actually receive it without waiting many months, or wondering if the product will ever be released.

I'd like to order a few things from eBay (China), and ShowZ, etc., but even my orders Hasbro and Big Bad Toy Store seem to be stuck in limbo. I understand why, but wondering if it's even worth placing orders at all from some places.

What are your experiences like at the moment?

I have a March 13th SAL from Japan that hasn't moved.

That said I've been able to get DHL deliveries within 2-3 days.

So far other than this one thing I ordered back in early March from aliexpress, I haven’t really experienced anything crazy. The one thing is not tf related so it’s not important here. What’s crazy is I ordered 2things from aliexpress that day and the other thing was tf related and I got that almost a month ago. That was the rumble/ratbat cassette set.

I’ve had multiple orders get caught up in this and end up MIA. I’ve got two sets of the OS POTP Dinobots that have been somewhere either in China or out of it for two months now, an OS Grimlock in the Tyrannozord colors that took three months to get here, a hat that’s been stuck in Tokyo since March and some Shockwaves Lab parts I’m pretty sure I will never see.

If it doesn’t ship domestic I wouldn’t even consider it right now.

Everything is understandably taking longer but seemingly very random. Some stuff I've ordered from China has arrived in two weeks while others have taken a month or longer. Amazon is really random with some stuff still being able to be delivered in two days while others are two or more weeks. BBTS has been the most consistent for me where orders might sit in processing a few days longer but once shipped arrived in 2 to 4 days.

I do most of my online shopping through Amazon. That's been a mixed bag. The 2 day Prime shipping ain't flying. Most stuff now takes a week, sometimes 2. I had ordered Mirage and Springer when they dropped to MSRP, had to cancel after they didn't ship for more than a month, with the restock date continually being pushed back.

BBTS has been good, taking about a week. Same for my one order from Megalopolis.

eBay has been pretty solid, with domestic orders coming in a week or less. Just got a TFsource from eBay that took 3 or 4 days. Stuff from China I never expect in less than 2 months, but I've got a few things a month before it was said to arrive.

Pretty much been approx a month to arrive from overseas to me here in Australia at the moment. I've had one item from Japan returned to sender because of time and restrictions.

BBTS has been OK for me, one larger order took a little while to ship, but it got here within two weeks.

I ordered the battle damaged Jinbao Devastator from ShowZ many weeks ago, and there have been zero updates on it processing/shipping from their website. I can't tell if it's supply or shipping that is the problem. I'm a little nervous about placing additional orders from them.

Has anyone gotten anything from ShowZ lately?

Local USPS hub has been awful. Holding onto some packages for 2-3 weeks before moving while others zip right through.

UPS, FedEx, and Amazon have been reliable here.

International service via private companies have been fine.

I had 3 packages delayed en route from China. 2 of them arrived around the 6-8 week mark. The 3rd one finally showed signs of life after 2.5 months and cleared customs. Normally, these would take 2-3 weeks.

I've only seen a few things with a day or two delay, and that was a while ago. Everything recently has gotten here in the expected time. Heck, just got an Amazon Japan order today that shipped Monday, so that was cool.

The only big delay I've had is something coming from Sirtoys that was paid for at the end of April and it's still in pre-shipment phase.
Yeah, never ordering from there again.

I've had about 4 CDS that where backed up for a month each from Amazon. As for Transformers related I've not seen any cause Pulse shipped with no issues but haven't bought from any where else.

I've got a few things that are in mail limbo since March. One package got returned to Amiami, and they say they'll email me when they're able to ship it back out. The others I have no idea.
