Hehe. That is a cool bit of articulation - Butterfly joints that facilitate that are always welcome.

NO I get it but still, I don't discredit using them. They're good, I just make sure I use Paypal :p

Lately they've been better on getting stuff sooner. Still getting an order in is better than not at all right now.

They've got a new factory so that might be part of the cause lately? Not sure.

I mean, yeah...I don't need a car to go faster than I will ever drive it.

I don't need any product to do something I'll never use it for.

Back in the day when phoenix didn't have waist articulation, nobody complained.
    Except me.
That is why i didn't bought him back then for 200 usd.
Then with reissue, i thought, he is the best looking and the only ( next to chronos ) skyfire.
And so i bought him for 240 usd.
    I paid 40 to much.
But lucky i did buy him.
Because the cheapest goes for over 300 now.

    Luckily you guys woke up.
I guess some of you were like me.
Now lets see FT do some changes, now so many peoples complaining about waist swivel.

Like i said, i don't mind not having ab crunch.
Because you can do a look a like ab crunch with every figure that can move its legs forward.

    I know, i know.
My comment is 1: stating a fact.
    2. Also kind of a joke.
So don't take it to seriously.

    Hey thanks for watching!

For the accessories the way I judge it is this: if it has everything you expect for the figure, and these things are nicely painted, sculpted and can be used easily and do what they should do, like stay in the hand and clear against the wrist, then 10 /10. If they fail on any of those, start knocking points!

:)  My pleasure! Have a good weekend and hats off to you, glad I made you laugh!

Your absolutely correct ! Don’t get me wrong , im not praising FT’s for there lack of swivel. I’m not happy that yet AGAIN , another plane lacks a proper waist swivel. It’s like when it comes to planes they have the same issue they keep running into over an over again .

MP Arcee has the mother of backpack and she can not only waist rotate, but an ab crunch and swivel side to side...maybe this is the limitations of third party companies engineering wise.

After messing around with the backpack, I think this is as close to screen accuracy as I can get it. It requires unclipping the main wings and putting them back on in a different configuration. But I'm much more happy with it being accurate. 00100dPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200515212953474_COVER.jpg 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20200515212941312.jpg 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20200515212916510.jpg

I finally got in my Silverbolts. A little disappointed by the figure. Mostly in QC. Really tight or loose joints by pins pressed in incorrectly. Two of the most annoying are two small pieces on the chest that just flip about and tend to hang down out of position.

Well I finally got my “payment request” from baba. Most definitely will be getting all my bots from toy dojo from here on out. Just more convenient. Well except for Thomas cause I already ordered through ShowZ lol.

The more I look at Goose and Iceman, the more I'm convinced that the backpacks are the way they are is because of the combined mode.

For me, Goose's backpack is so far off the source material that it just didn't make sense to me. With Iceman it's a little more faithful but even so, it's definitely not accurate.

The fronts of the robots are so slavishly accurate to the cartoon that I can't imagine any other reason for the backpacks to be the way they are other than to make the combined mode less kibbly like it is in the cartoon. If they went with a screen accurate backpack (which is very similar to how the backpacks look on the toys), you'd have all the wing kibble hanging on the sides like Zeta's set does, as well as the G1 toys.

So yeah, if the backpacks had to be sacrificed in individual bot mode, I'm okay with it as I'll be displaying it in combined mode anyways.

This is as close as I can get both backpacks to be accurate. IMG_20200515_223621.jpg IMG_20200515_223509.jpg

Goose is one swivel hinge away from having the vertical stabilizers sitting perfectly down the middle and facing the right way. :(

I use a bit of waist swivel on every figure cause it makes them look more natural with little tilt, but not having it isn't the end of the world. It clearly isn't a priority for Fans Toys though which is a bummer, it can obviously be done if it's factored in as a priority.[/QUOTE]

with all those semi-swivels on your shelf I’ll bet it makes the non-swivels stand out. Even more so for the folks who go for super dynamic poses.

Silver lining: All my static bots play to the least common denominator!!! :D
