I find advertising in general incredibly annoying as is, but the massive increase in patronising "in these trying times/we'll get through this together", "heres to the _____, and the _____, and the _____" twee feel good bollocks at the moment is extra fucking intolerable.
That one Orbit gum commercial with the girl and guy flirting. And the guy shows off his peacock feathers to impress her while this stupidly annoying reggae song blasts in the background. I want to punch that guy in the face so bad....
I have no idea if they are local or not but Interstate Heating and Air have a commercial with a song that sounds like music from Sonic R on Sega Saturn. I didn't think much of it but the song is played twice every commercial break and now I find it annoying.
I hate getting mobile game ads where what they show is nothing like the game. keep getting one where you encounter an obstacle and need to choose A or B to advance. One i see constantly is girl needs to pee. Door is locked. Rock or Axe. Axe is picked now door chopped down. Then a rat is encountered. Choose cat to chase it off. Next an overflowing tub. Choose wrench to fix. Then the toilet is spouting water. Plunger or Hammer. It picks hammer and smashes toilet. Girl pees herself. Cut to images from the game and actual gameplay is a candy crush type of game. i've ranted about these things before, but i get so many of them. Always the same. Also games with constant ads. Found a game that actually was similar to the one mentioned above, but it did an ad after every option. I deleted it. If it was every 3-4 ones i'd keep it.
HA! Came here to say that exact thing. You have Breyers commercials with kids being kids and then you have Sonic with this annoying little shit. Pretty much can't stand any of the latest Progressive ads, especially the one with the dumbasses taking offense at bundles. Geico can go fuck off with their Motaur ads. Really fucking can't stand the one with the jackass at the gym hogging the treadmill. Oh my that was a bit more crotchety then I intended.
A series of sports betting ones. Dear god they are annoying. Watch a lot of Hulu and get it all the time.

There's a answer for that: uBlock Origin (buh-bye Youtube ads and those stupid "disable your adblock" splash screens) Oh yeah, f--k Bell and their 5G ads... trying to be the no. 1 mobile phone/TV/internet service in Canada (where there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better 5G services out there)
