If my Scrappers cancel I'm going to look into reporting Target for unfair trade practices. I've moved what I could over to Amazon but I'm not thrilled.

 

Has anyone noticed that when you use the Target app to scan a barcode on the packaging to any toy at Target in the actual store that it says “discontinued”? Anyone know why this is?

edit: on a side note, does anyone know why Overload is $29.99 on the Target website?

 

So Hasbro has continued to use old UPCs longer than they used to which has messed up Target's inventory practices since now they think things on shelves are either clearanced out old items or street dated unreleased items because they have no way to tell product from one another until they abandon assortment UPC tracking and start tracking individual item UPCs.

... And I think Hasbro may be deliberately messing things up for them to break them from assortment UPCs and get them tracking individual UPCs, which is better for Hasbro and collectors.

 

In regards to delays, what is a delayed backorder?

 

That makes sense actually. Now the question is, when will they start doing that?

 

Both my Scrapper and Sentinel are back to "Preparing" after being Backordered Thursday.

Honestly willing to wait, as I have had good luck finding stuff in stores, Pulse is pretty good in keeping these in stock, and this is a great deal with the buy one get one 50% off. So willing to wait for a great price and if something happens I'll just buy someplace else.

 

When you say Thursday, was your's switched to the 22nd as well?

 

Yes. I had both originally on May 1st, then Scrapper got pushed to 15th, then Sentinel to 22, then thursday had scrapper move to 22nd as well. Both were listing Backorder but now both are Preparing. My hope is they will be shipping them out this week... only to get stuck at USPS for a month like 2 other orders I have.

 

Has anyone who had a delayed (22nd) Sent/Scrap PO had their's shipped?

 

My Sentinel keeps fluctuating between Preparing and Backordered. Willing to wait, but kinda wondering how my other preorders are going to do later on...

 

I didn't get my 5am "lol we're gonna cancel this" email so I checked- it switched to processed.

 

Got an email this morning that my Scrapper shipped.

 

I got a tracking number. Color me surprised.

 

I am happy to report that after 3 weeks of delays, my Sentinel and Scrapper have finally shipped here in NYC.

Cross your fingers for no QC issues, and swift delivery!

Never was in-stock. Just the listing being active means it's getting ready to be in-stock as we get closer to the July release date. Put the item in a registry or have it notify you when it's in-stock. Otherwise, just wait for the release date and take your chances.
