is there a Japanese skin color for Lego or is it just tan? I'm asking because i want to build a certain character in minifigure form who is Japanese
Bricklink general question. How are the prices of the the pieces compared to Lego's online brick picker? I'm looking to create a desert landscape, so I would need a good number of larger plates of similar colors.
It varies from seller to seller. Sometimes they're higher, sometimes they're cheaper. You'd have to actually compare each piece one by one.
Yeah like Split Lip said it varies. I usually find them cheaper than pick a brick, but make sure your order is worth the shipping prices. That's the one thing I don't love about it. I could order $1.50 worth of pieces and have to pay $4 shipping lol
For those that have VIP, anyone getting trying for the Prototype Boba Fett minifigure sealed in a display case for 50 VIP points and ends on 5/17? The Prototype Fett (limited) was a Star Wars Celebration V giveaway in 2010, later in 2015 packed in the DK books - Lego Star Wars: Character Book Updated and Expanded. Here's what your hoping to get. Note that it was also done as toysandbricks has mentioned: LEGO Star Wars White Boba Fett Minifigure (Prototype Armor) – LEGO VIP Sweepstake – Toys N Bricks | LEGO News Site
I passed on it. I'll leave it for those who really are super collectors and picked up a copy with the book for $13 on Amazon.
Thanks. I put an order in a Pick a brick order in a long time ago and I seriously underestimated the bricks I would need to make a desert landscape for my UCS MF coffee table. I ordered a good amount to cover the entire bottom of the table, but not enough to make hills and add some depth. Between the cost of the set, the cost of the Lego for the display and the cost of the custom table, it's by far the most expensive Lego build I've ever done. First world problems.
Yes, I built out the base of the table, but it's really just a flat layer right now without a lot to it. Also, excuse the hideous pink carpet. This room is going to be remodeled in a few months. I want to make some more hills and some other things to give the base some more texture. I have Vader and Luke fighting in the front of the MF now and some Storm Troopers on the other side. I still need to open up some of my packs to add more.
So if it's not reported yet, the following Minifigures will be in the next Star Wars 2020 Advent Calendar... Spoiler Luke Skywalker Gonk Droid Battle Droid Rey Stormtrooper Poe Dameron Sith Trooper Porg D-0 Exclusive Christmas Darth Vader
Although I was exited for the Haunted House when I saw the first pictures (would love to have the previous version), I'm going to pass on it without second thought. I don't care for the theme-park concept. I want a real haunted house. Plus, the interior space is minimal. I started out with the oficcial program, Lego Digital Designer. Worked with it for some time, but Lego stopped supporting it and I couldn't find some of the newer parts or even very old parts. When the program crashed I switched to Studio from Bricklink. Studio is updated regularly and all available part are included: both new and old. In the end, both have their positives and negatives, but I'm sticking with Studio.
Heh, I'm actually building this little set right now and plan to find a place for it as a cafe kiosk inside my airport terminal MOC that I've been working on this past week. So far I've combined the parts of LEGO City Airport sets 60103 (airshow), 60104 (blue and white passenger plane with terminal) and 60022 (cargo plane). I'm debating getting set 3182 too for the red and white passenger plane and additional parts for the terminal and control tower.
Photos for the entire Ninjago summer wave I'm digging the new look and I'm getting the rhino because of the chima vibes the skull dragon looks cool but those front legs are locked I'm getting tired of fixing legos laziness

@Admiral Prime I’ll stick with Ninjago. Compared to these sets, the Skull Sorceror’s Dungeon is a bargain by comparison.
