I wasn’t planning to buy the new BS Bespin Luke since I have the original but I couldn’t resist when I saw it at Target. I never realized just how horrible the head on earlier one was until I saw this one.

 

Have they ever done a farmboy Luke with a decent head?

 

I don’t think so. I’d love to get another one of those with the photo real paint they’ve been using. I’ve been tempted to buy a second ceremonial Luke and use that head on farmboy. Still need to find the new Jedi Luke for a decent price too.

Someone did a custom baby yoda to scale and correctly proportioned for 3.75.


This is roughly what it would look like. I'm not sure if a TVC version would come with a shifter knob or frog or anything like that. Might be too small. But then again I think they did the stormtrooper comlink in the past right?



Either way it goes to show that the black series version is just completely wrong for it

It use to be that I'm hunting for new figures like star wars or transformers every weekend. But now I'm reduced to going to local pharmacy every weekend to find wipes.

 

I’ve waited my whole life for something like this!

I am new to Dorkside also. I did not pay attention to the status update b/c I ordered Wave 1 of the ESB Black Series. However the packaging and service is top notch. I did collector grade for each figure as I wanted good cards that I can pick up and admire for years to come. Leia came with a messed up face and they immediately sent a replacement to put in the protective case.

 

So I got Baby Yoda in today, on my Birthday, and I guess it’s also George Lucas’ b-day as well? Crazy coincidences...

 

Smart move. This is the first time I have paid full price for a BS helmet but it was because there was no way I was going to miss it. If it goes on sale, I will buy another for sure.

Tbh if Hasbro didn’t cheap out on the range, I would still have continued collecting them!

$120. I would have easily paid $150, haha. I just realized the rangefinder has a removable panel too so you can actually see through it and “acquire targets”. Such great attention to detail and fan service. This is Hasbro at its best.

 

Wowzers! That is a great price! The lowest I can find is $170 in my country. Tbh I’m tempted by movie props/toys but I really have to stick to my toy retirement plan!
