Then it pleases me to be the first. 20200508_135510.jpg

But seriously though, I'm not the first one. And I reported my breakage only like 3 pages ago so you couldn't have looked that far back.

Yes, and he detailed some of the same issues I elaborated on.

Even though my legs are intact for the time being, I went ahead and ordered a set of screws from Toy Dojo anyway. With my luck they'll end up falling off a month from now and then the screws will be unavailable. Still an annoying bit of pre-emptive repair, that shouldn't be necessary.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the bots coming from Terry's? I'm trying to figure out if mine may have issues and if it would be prudent to order screws from ToyDojo as a safeguard.

Maybe he should've been called LT. Dan rather than Sheridan! :lol

Finally got my Sheridan from ShowZ. Into quarantine for three days before I can open it up. :(

I have Sheridan sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS and I’m considering just canceling it, taking the temporary hit, and trying again when it is released again. That may sound crazy but I’m thinking about it.

I keep checking Toy Dojo...It'd be helpful if they knew WHEN they would get additional units.

Why not email (they are very responsive) them or PM them. They have an account and inbox here on TFW2005. @ToyDojo

So what's the consensus on the leg pin, if it doesn't break off after a few transformation then it's good?

Just received mine. Haven't transformed yet, but knees seems to be ok. Some pretty tight joints: right elbow doesn't want to rotate outwards, right knee doesn't bend as much, left shoulder hinge is much tighter than the right.

    Here are some pictures:

I’m thinking so. I received mine from ShowZ and have transformed him five times and both knees are still tight. I have experienced no looseness in the pin joint.

So I sat down and transformed Sheridan into tank mode and back last night. I did so partly because I felt like I should experience the transformation at least once, partly because I wanted to see if the knees would survive it... they did, luckily.

Transformation, whole not exactly difficult, still seems more complicated than it needed to be. A few fiddly little moments. And for the life of me I could NOT get one of the little flip-around panels on his legs (that are supposed to lie flush on the side of the tank) to actually click in and lie flat. It seems like either the panel or one if its surrounding pieces is a little warped. Not a big deal, it’s not super noticeable (and I’ll probably never have him in tank mode anyway). But I wrestled with that little bastard of a panel for like 20 minutes last night before just giving up on it.

Overall a flawed but still nice-looking figure (well, when the knees hold together). He definitely looks more like how I want Warpath to look. I do wish he were about a head shorter, though.

Another issue is the arms, they are pretty loose and even tighten the screws which are already tightened to the max doesn't help. This little sucker better not be a bad QC trend going forward with their Brawn and Seaspray 2.0

On mine, there is too much paint either on the panel that's supposed to fit into the opening, or the piece that has the opening (or both). The paint adds enough thickness that the panel - and especially the hinge it's attached to - doesn't fit into the space. I had to apply enough force that I was sure I'd scrape paint off to get it to fit (so far so good, though).

Thanks! Same! I might give it another go.... or even try sanding it down a bit. It feels soooo close, and the other side works, so I know it’s at least possible.

I guess it was a common issue though, huh?

Yeah I had to take the right arm off at the shoulder and loosen the screw all the way out then I had a hell of a time trying to pine it back up. The screw actually screws into a metal rivet that has to line up with a spline in the plastic of the shoulder. I got it back together and it’s tighter than before but it wasn’t fun.

Most likely you have a 2nd batch copy.
