I'm expecting that, like Selects Bugbite, this 'bee is a harbinger for a new Bumblebee in ER wave 4, and will just be a repaint of the ER one. Obviously the schedules are a bit borked by...everything, but I'm expecting it'll be managed internally so that ER 'bee does actually come out first. Despite his repaints being leaked first.

Yeah, they really need to get on it with those ER wave 4 Deluxe leaks, don't they? Sloppy Hasbro. Sloppy!

She has Chromia leg kibble according to that pic, so it looks like I'm still waiting for a good Elita One figure...:(

    That's what preordering is for.

It wasn't greedy, especially considering selects are sold at multiple retailers and cost the same as mainline releases

Yep, and if that's the case then I might just double dip on him

His character model in the netflix cartoon is a dead ringer for his earthrise figure. He won't be a cybertronian vehicle

    Feeling your loss, here!

Sorry, Bob. I had to Google world but I'm still not clear what you're referring to. The closest I could get was 'colonies'? Is this 'world' an expression that's used more commonly outside the UK?

the Refraktor from wave 3 didnt pegwarm. the one from the 35th anniversary display did.
roundabouts the holiday season most walmarts got this big fancy floor display (mine put it on the seasonal aisle) that had Bluestreak, Hound, Sideswipe, Refractor, and Brunt for deluxes
cell shaded optimus, cell shaded megtron, soundblaster, thundercracker, and springer for voyagers.
after crimbo, they pulled the display down, and all of the unsold figures flooded the "proper" TF shelf space/pegs.

so for the last year its been almost impossible to find Generations figures at walmart for me.

I wonder if that Quintesson won't be the Takara coloring they teased a while back.

    Also, WTF is "Deep Cover?"

The takara coloring for the alicon could also just be like the takara coloring for earthrise optimus that they showed in figure king at first and not actually be a final release.

I'm kind of betting we get three separate Alicon decos (retail, gift set/Takara, WM). Neither of the decos we've seen look consistent w/the WM line (that's presuming this leak is accurate, of course).

Deep Cover is a Sideswipe re-deco (black w/blue accents from e-HOBBY) and will probably be a Decepticon

Which means I'll probably end up getting more than the 3 I already have pre-ordered and paid for. :lol

Yeah, It also depends on if the sponsors and the shade of white are different. Now that I’m looking at my desk it’s also this Wheeljack design on the Earthrise side box art.

I think if it's more of a pure white with no sponsors and added green I may go for him, but pure white also has a greater risk of yellowing faster doesn't it?

One of the reasons I haven't raced to PO the two retail Quintessons is precisely because I really want Slitherfang so if there's a giftset that's likely the route I'm going.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but as many have pointed out, the character model of Wheeljack is clearly the Earthrise toy whilst Bumblebee and Elita One are retools of Cliffjumper and Chromia. I think the best we can hope for is early releases of planned Earthrise toys.

Oh holy crap. If real, Deep Cover is the sort of repaint that would let me place that Sideswipe mold in my collection. Yes please!

Warden has said that Cliffjumper would not be a bumblebee retool. Take that as you will, but if the designs are indeed based off of actual toys then bumblebee doesn't seem to share a mold or really engineering with cliffjumper except on a mild basis. My reason for saying this is the backpack, Bumblebee's is much more condensed than Cliffjumpers indicating that it's probably not a removable shield.

The character model does appear to have the same shoulders as the Cliffjumper mold...although I suppose that could be shared parts rather than a full-on retool. The Elita One on the other hand is definitely from the Chromia mold.
