    The prices had nothing to do with exclusivity or limited production runs. The prices of the Seacon releases were just TakaraTomy standard, plus a little extra to account for the extra accessories.

    It's funny, but I've finally started picking up the TFC Seacons, with their Nautilator arriving today. Its instructions include a comic this time, and a God Neptune redeco that's clearly never happened is shown and I got a little sad that TFC never bothered doing one, despite those black and black/purple redecos from a year or two ago, whenever they were.

    I was briefly tempted to go after the Generation Select set, but the sellouts and me not being in the mood to chase down figures when the TFC bunch are still available from reliable sellers online made me go that route. I think I'll go this route for God Neptune, since it's my only option by default, and I just really want to own an updated version of that team. It's one of my favorite color schemes.

    I think a better way of doing Zone Poseidon would be to make a 2 pack with redecos of two of the limbs to use as legs and some extra accessories (cape, etc) for like $85 since other than those parts he's pretty similar to Masterforce King Poseidon

    Thanks Dude. I thought I saw this but then doubted myself. I could not find it on any search. Doesn't look like a G1 repaint, but I'm gonna buy it, if the price is not crazy

    This. $300 for a toy is not something I normally do.
    Also for various reasons I have strong nostalgia for the Seacons, and I had a moment of weakness at just the right time to make the purchase. As a Japan-exclusive, I have no such connection to God Neptune.
