Not sure why there are 2 different designs. The one on top looks more to be inspired by the Matrix of Leadership.

Do people have the TaoBao Account created? When I try to search on TaoBao, I get a login in request box. Anyway to search without logging in?

I use the coin cases that the Michael's craft store sells. When you use their coupons, 20-55% off, they make for some economical cases

I also use a shadow box for one offs to feature.

sign up to tbfocus or engtb (I prefer tbfocus)
    then use this link: 变形金刚 MP32 33 35 MP18+19+38+MP44 MP47 MP48 特典 单售 现货-淘宝网
even if you sign up to taobao you'll have no luck searching it directly

that doesn't look like a pin it looks like a coin
might be just a promo image tho
    i hope they go back

Thanks! I'll give that a try.

I hope they do go back to the coins. The pins just seem so insignificant. I still need to find me the mp13+ pin.

Masterpiece Spinout official artwork and bio posted on TTM. Damn it’s cool! @Black Convoy I'm working on making a better translation for the extended bio.
    *edit* Bio finished.

Rescue Assault Spinout, an homage from Diaclone, the precursor of Transformers, joins the MP series!

The color palette, dimensions, and specifications are modeled directly after Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type from Diaclone.

A completely new Masterpiece branded character transforms from the Lamborghini "Supercar" LP500S to Rescue Assault team member, Spinout!

The specific variations of the original Diaclone figure have been faithfully reproduced, while maintaining the excellent articulation and vehicle mode features that were already exhibited by Sunstreaker and Cordon.

The concept of the original Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type has been made into a reality with a product that strongly adheres to the modernization of Transformers.

    MP-39+ Autobot Rescue Assault Spinout
    CYBERTRON ASSAULT & RESCUE SPINOUT

    Role: Assault Rescuer
Motto: “Trivial details aren’t suitable for extended history.”

Profile: Spinout was originally an unconscious existence as a combat machine (Car Robot) in another dimension, but was given life by an ancient computer on Cybertron and became a cognizant lifeform. Although Spinout is passionate and zealous for his fellow Autobots, he shows strong loyalty and obedience to humans. He clearly remembers his previous life as a war machine dependent on humans and has internal anxiety about fighting without a pilot.

Spinout’s vehicle form, the Lamborghini Countach LP500S, is strongly reminiscent of his mysterious and paradoxical origin.

Extended Bio: [Private recordings of Delta Magnus]: Our rushed operation to secure the remote space facility of Diadem saved vast amounts of data recordings of ancient Cybertron, but it couldn’t have come at worse costs. The facility was severely damaged by the fierce battle between Decepticons and Quintessons, and much valuable information was lost. Fortunately, I was able to recover Cordon’s memory files, but he refused to reinstall them. So, that aside, ultimately what we got… was something so completely unexpected that shakes the very history of Cybertron! A bot by the name of Spinout was discovered in the depths of Diadem. He was found in a cryochamber and must have been resting for the past 10 million years. In simpler terms, we found an autoboot, that has an Earth altmode from millions of years ago! What the hell is that?!? According to the data files of Anterior Zeta on Diadem, Spinout was originally nothing more than an unwitting machine from a different Earth dimension. Nothing more than some detritus cast into our spacetime continuum. Hmm. Diaclone… That is the name of the force that Spinout belonged to. Zeta, who analyzed the anomaly, seemed to have been fascinated by the battles between the Diaclone and their enemies, the Waruders. Was Zeta losing his mind by this time? Perhaps he was infected by some alien force? I can’t be certain… Anyway, Zeta took extreme measures to lead the Autobots to Dialcone’s missions in hopes of taking command. Upon discovering the true threat of the Waruders, he created a team of professionals whose highest priority was the extermination of the Waruders, and he programmed them to infiltrate a vast array of systems via a repair network. It’s hard to believe there was such meddling in our people’s ancestry, but there are already examples. I’m speaking of the Blue Bluestreak incident, in which Bluestreak had a run in with the Waruder Insectorobos. We must take extreme measures to halt their infiltration!
If the threat of an evil Waruder invasion was immediate I know that Spinout would fight on our side. But I think it should be done out of a sense of personal freedom; not one of controlled obedience.

let me know what you think

I have the coins for just about all of the G1 Takara Masterpiece TF's - I did take a bunch out of the cardboard (carefully!) and kept them separately - but everything I have is complete and in good condition.
TBH though, I'm trying to downsize most parts of my collecting - so are there any (probably UK based) folks who'd be interested in seeing/buying the lot for a not-grim price?

So there are 3 Jada Bumblebee releases with coins.

Last Knight BB with unique coin
    2007 Movie "beater" BB
    2007 Movie New Camaro

My question is - Do the two different "2007 Movie" cars come with identical coins? The fronts sure look the same in packaging photos I have seen, but I have never seen opened samples.

Can anyone confirm before I waste money on two cars that might come with the same coin?

Does anyone know why they stopped making the collector coins in favor of the pins? I've been out of the loop for a bit. The pins are nice and more uniform for display because they are all the same size and design (only the head and number are different). I also like the little boxes they come in. That being said, I still much prefer the coins. I really wish they would bring them back. Also, as a collector, it's frustrating having some figures with coins and some with pins.

Just a thought, someone told me at work that pins are sort of like a new fad. It could just be simply takara changing with the times.

I feel you on that. I like the pins, but I would've preferred if they stuck with the coins, just to be uniform.

The only thing that really irks me is that MP-20+ Wheeljack is the only Masterpiece figure that doesn't come with a coin, pin or figure (like Grapple and Inferno did). Sure, one could just keep the coin that came with the original MP-20 Wheeljack, but all the other + versions of MP figures came with their own new coin or pin. Just wondering why Wheeljack+ didn't.

Oooo, I wonder why that is? I know that I have to be careful to not order from a Japanese site to get them.

They don’t need an incentive for their main market to order the toys that their main market desires. AMJ ships Japanese products for that cheapcheap and ‘Asia’ (not japan) needs to sell their goods. The items are made in ‘Asia’ (not japan) and not shipping them to japan and then selling them where they’re made is incentive enough to warrant a ¢99 extra to keep a premium price on a figure with like $30 bucks saved in shipping.

Ugh I remember finding that pic years ago. Really sent me on a treasure hunt to find several of these. Wish I had kept at lease one of them though.
