Note: Be appropriate and mature, please. (Just saying, so nothing gets out of hand.)

So is there discrimination on Cybertron? If so, against what groups? Is their terms used against these people, if there are, what is it?
I think it could be a cool story element, imagine if Triple Changers are looked down upon or if Minibots are excluded from the war.

That's what Functionism is all about, isn't it? Your alternate mode determined your career and social status, and so Transformers of lower social status were discriminated against.

Besides the obvious factions it seems like the fliers have a high ego, and that the higherups seem to look down upon the populace.

I remember in the Marvel Comics both Autobots and Decepticons had some heavy dislike of "Empties", but it been a while since I have read it. Functionalism in IDW discraminated by Alt-mode too.

In IDW, data disks (e.g., Rewind) were considered disposable. Characters like Ravage and Laserbeak, who had beastly robot forms, were also looked down upon.

Generally, it seems like larger Cybetronians command more respect than smaller ones. (There are exceptions, like Marvel Ratbat, but in terms of general trends, minibots and cassettes are often seen as relatively unimportant.) That being said, in IDW it seemed that characters with extremely bulky alternate modes (like tanks and construction vehicles) were seen as unintelligent.

Characters with flying alternate modes are often unduly proud of that ability; another post noted that this came up in Cyberverse. Strangely, in the same show, Shockwave seemed to express a belief that Seekers, specifically, were unintelligent.

You're right; the Decepticons murdered them left, right, and center. As for the Autobots...well, this bit from TfWiki sums it up better than I could:
"If you want to thank me, you'll crawl back into your hole, pal. I've got better things to do than save the rusty hides of robo-wretches like you!"

"Clear the road, wrecks. I'm on important business! ”
Blaster and Scrounge express what is apparently typical heroic Autobot concern for their fellow Cybertronians.
Neutrals were also looked down upon in IDW, but they had more power there.

Characters with beastly alternate modes (or, again, robot modes, like Ravage or Sky Lynx) are often assumed to be unintelligent.

In Prime, Starscream at least expressed disdain for Knock Out's non-flying alternate mode. No one on either side seemed to care about Vehicons.

In Rebirth part 2, Cyclonus states that Zarak can only have the heads of the "animals" implying that they are of a lower class than vehicle alt mode TF's (or Cyclonus just wants to save his skin lol)

Well, I do have a headcanon idea of discrimination on Cybertron coming from the Elite Guard. It would be that they despise non-Autobot races (Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons, Vehicons, et. al.), and just want Cybertron to be a planet of pure Autobots.

Why, yes! In IDW2005, there are the Forged and the Constructed Cold. Those who are naturally created by Vector Sigma, and those who are built. The Constructed Cold are highly discriminated against. There is also segregation based on alt-modes.

The concept of functionalism in the comics is an absolute genius way of depicting real prejudice pertaining to something out of your control, and then others starting to blame you for your own issues when none of the blame goes to the system that created the issue in the first place.

Where there is a society/civilization, there will be some sort of discrimination against someone.

I think because Cybes are mechanical aliens there's a lot of really interesting dynamics that can be explored in regards to how their society functions, Functionism is a great concept but was ultimately mishandled (like many things in IDW's first TF universe).

Rather than the Functionist council being so obviously evil they could be presented in a more neutral light because I think there's solid arguments that could be made in favor of Functionism, why not? Maybe a little bit of Functionism isn't a bad thing, but like with many things, when taken too far it can be a problem. What about Megatron's Technoism? I definitely would like to see more of that explored, maybe Cybertronians at first struggle to reconcile carbon-based lifeforms due to their planet being entirely mechanical. I also very much liked the ideas Roberts raised in his papers talking about his ideas for the proper origins of their species, about a possible war or conflict between those constructed cold and forged, it'd be an interesting dynamic / conflict to explore.

Though it needs to be said, if you happen to be a writer for Transformers and would like to broach the topic of discrimination: For the love of god please keep in mind that they aren't human and don't try to draw parallels to our reality unless you're gonna do it right and with some subtlety.

This is usually part of the origin for the Decepticons in modern continuities.

I did get the impression in Beast Wars that Predacons felt like they were discriminated against by the Maximals on Cybertron.

I remember in the dreamwave armada character profile books it describes the armada versions of Rhinox Predacon(aka beast machine Megatron) and Terrorsaur are cybertronians that willing mix the organic into their mechanical bodies. the entry states that most transformers find this idea repugnant so its safe to assume technoganic transformers are highly contempted by the purely mechanical.
