I have the flame sword piece that came with Gutter but not the feet. The piece is pretty niche since it's designed to just fit his sword, so i'm going to see if I can do an adapter that will make it more useful for other bots.

Do you think it would be possible/work well to put a seal or clear coat over the top of the “weathered” versions paint? How would one go about doing this(best way...brush, spray, etc.)?

For the weathered finish version, or for this type of weathered paint style in general, are there any concerns with the paint feeling like it is coming off on or leaving a rwsidue/powdery feeking on your hands? I am just wondering about the safety/toxicity of the situation, as my copy snd other weathered paint-scheme figures I have had in the past seem to give off a smell/odor compared to their regular-paint counterparts. I know the Chrome version of Grassor I had did not have a noticeable odor, where this weathered version does. Just don't want to get sick or risk my (or my 7 year-old son's health) for a figure.

Any thoughts or info are/is appreciated.

I am going to sell my Weathered Version (or trade for Chrome or Metallic) of Grassor if anyone is interested. I am just to paranoid about the finish/paint, as I have odd alergies.

Bit of fresh out the box one on one time with Gigapower's HQ-02X 'weathered' Grassor. First impressions?

Dinobots, eh? They've always had some of the coolest robot designs ever, seemingly overlooked in favour, not unsurprisingly of course, of those monstrous dinosaur forms. Big Slag here comes boxed as a robot though, and his bulky thuggish glory truly shines.



Kinda blown away here. I've never handled a Masterpiece esque Dinobot outside of MP-8. This is something else. I already knew they went to town on the detail on these Gigasaurs but the way in which this is all brought to life by the painting is fucking nuts. There's rust, grime, scorching.. it's almost 3A/ThreeZero level of quality here.



Transformation is pretty straightforward as well, just need to be mindful of tolerances with the paint. You all knew that anyway, you Gigapower aficionados. Dinolad pics will have to wait for tomorrow though as I've spent far too much time this avvie on photographing him and his steggo bro.



And Gigapower better make sure they complete the run of these weathered decos because a shelf of these just went to the top of the toy priority list.
