Just wondering... for all the folks who are clamoring for these figures... the pre-orders were up for a few weeks for each wave... curious why people didn't pre-order when they were available? There was no "sell-out" once the closing date was reached, that was it. Are folks here looking for multiples?

 

I had originally preordered the 4 deluxes minus Gulf, then cancelled them due to the belief I would be unable to obtain Turtler and Gulf, not realizing they would be stocked and being sold out elsewhere when I preordered the last set

 

Money. Too low on disposable income then, now I have it.

I don't think people are there for multiples. I think once these figures started coming out and were more in view, people grew fonder of them. Sitting home all day under quarantine may have also added to the desirability of the figures over these months. I personally completely missed the ordering deadline for the last two in October because I did not even know they were up for pre-order until like January, February when I happen to chance this same article on TFW2005. I got distracted between that time and well things happen. I preordered the other four though Hasbro Pulse no problem and way before the deadline was to end.

 

For me, I completely missed the first wave and wasn't going to buy 4 out of 6...

but it turns out the jokes on me because now I have 3 out of six (though at least I have the main body)

 

So TFSafari had the last two in stock, I ended up ordering from them. Hopefully they will come in next week

I'm assuming the Preorder for them (the last two) Sold Out. They were up two-three weeks ago when pre-orders were re-opened for the first four figures.

you must've got the last tentakil, because they only have overbite now. Lol there goes plan C   gotta just hope on Hasbro now or pay aftermarket

Always! Stranger things have happened. I'm still hopeful they'll have more stock even though this is oddly longer than other instances.

Not necessarily. Nautilator and Seawing both had their listings removed before they were put up for preorder the second time. (This was after they had already been put up for sale following their original preorders.)

 

I only got back into collecting in February.

 

I didn't have my CC at that time nor the consistent funds to place a preorder.

 

Just got my Tentakill delivered. At 11 pm. Luckily I checked outside before going to bed.

It's a solid toy and honestly the best of all of the Seacons.
