I preordered 3 of them! I decided that I just want to transform him twice lol.

 

Just put in a preorder for this guy with The Chosen Prime. Got Thomas on order (with a Toy Dojo), so I had to get his triple-changing partner in crime.

 

I like the retool but it may be a new design completely. It's good to see sometimes they hold back if it's not what they expected.

So, is there any news on this guy and his release date, possible price changes, etc.? I have him pre-ordered and paid for at TCP, and I am just curious. Asking for a friend, who is me.

 

I wouldn't expect any of that until after we have seen the figure in color. Dalianjj does occasionally drop such pictures randomly (like with their Dragstrip), but more often such updates happen with TFCon. Last I heard the July TFCon has been pushed back to September, no idea if FT will wait for September to show things or go ahead and put them out in July though.

 

Here's to hoping we see Blitzwing (and Trailbreaker as well?) in September. Cliffjumper as well, as he's probably my most wanted out of all the Fans Toys figures that we had at least an inkling about (not counting Devastator and Prime, that is. Though I do still want CJ more than them, honestly). Of course, we only got a silhouette, so probably not the biggest chance of seeing him there. Fingers crossed, though.

 

I would think Jazz would be in more demand than anything. Just about every TF fan loves Jazz.

 

Definitely something that shouldn't be ignored. Shame on me for initially doing so, haha. I personally have Premium Downbeat on pre-order, but when FT shows more of their Jazz (which I also do hope to see more of), I may just make the switch, or even double up. Definitely not out of the argument, as i'm doing such for Seaspray. Pre-ordered Spindrift 2.0, and there's no way i'm selling XTB's Neptune with the accessories he comes with, they're too good to pass up, haha. Same as the Jazz situation for Mirage as well, in which I went with Transform Element's for now at least.

I was mainly thinking since those were in limbo for a while already, so people were already waiting in the wings on Blitzwing and Trailbreaker mainly.

Again, definitely keeping my eye on Jazz, but for now, he's a bit on the side in comparison to my main line of sight, FT-wise, if you catch my drift.

I'll be surprised if anything from MT ever sees the light of day, even a remold. If that company had a pulse, they'd have released their other coneheads long ago.

 

God I hope those Coneheads come out. Never got my hand on Dirge, but I intend do later down the road. I have a feeling that Takara will sooner or later release an MP Starscream v3, if MP-44's Starscream head accessory says anything, so I haven't gotten my hands on MT's Seekers. Hoping that their QC actually is good again at the point they release a new Screamer, haha.

Glad that at least we got a statement from them a while back. I'm giving them some time since these pandemic and riot filled times are something that doesn't fare the best for manufacturers like Maketoys.

On top of that, should they come back in full force, hope we can at least get some more comic stuff from them, their Swerve and Tailgate are some of my favorite pieces in my entire collection.
