Playing through Dragon's Crown right now and it's certainly playable single-player. You can even keep finding AI allies to play along with so it's never a true solo game, if that's what you want.

I did however get a couple buddies to pick up the game along with me so we're now having a blast partying up online (after unlocking it hours later into the campaign). I feel you're missing out playing it completely offline, but that's just my opinion. You can still completely enjoy the game fully offline.

Dragon's Crown is a fun single player experience.

And if you have friends and extra controllers, they could join in, couch co-op. I think you have to get to a certain point in the game for co-op to work.

Not sure if it's different in the Pro version of the game, but once you beat the game, you unlock a tougher more involving version mode.

Farm Sim and City Skylines are the freebies this month. Been wanting to give those two a look.

Between looking at Hot Wheels and Constructicons, I’ve been looking at trucks and heavy work machinery vehicles. They can be real cool!

Started Farm Sim but after the tutorial I was stuck and started a contract I didn’t have the machinery for and hired the machines for the wrong tractor, typical lifestyle owner...

Thanks for the input regarding Dragon's Crown. I watched part of a longplay and it looks fun as hell when playing with an AI partner, plus I love the art style. It'll probably be my next game purchase, but I'm going to order a physical copy. Funny that the collector's edition is so cheap, only around $23 or so. It also has me looking into the similar Odin Sphere.

Just found out while browsing today to see if any LEGO games were on sale (I love the TT LEGO games...) that the LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame is available FOR FREE if you download it by May 21st.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Game available free!

This also applies to the Xbox and PC versions of it as well.

But it's not free on the switch. You still have to pay full price for it. Shame on you Nintendo.

Anyone here ever open up their OG PS4 to clean? If so did it really make any difference? My PS4 sounds like it's down shifting from 4th gear to 3rd after about 30mins of use. Only asking bc my 360 was noisy too and I took it apart and shot some compressed air and IMO felt like it didn't really make a difference and is still loud so just wondering the same for the PS4. Thx in advance!

It could also be the fan parts. It’s constantly spinning so it’s deteriorating.

The first Injustice game is free on PS4 until June 26th! It's the Ultimate edition also on Xbox One and PC (Steam.) Sadly the Xbox has the standard edition, Steam also has Ultimate.

PSVR Patent Filed For Advertisements Displayed Within The Headset - IGN

Hopefully they don't follow through. In game ads is already annoying, but having it in VR, even if it's peripheral ads, sounds even worse.

I mentioned before that I only got a PS4 last year, so I’m still discovering games for it that are old news to everyone else.

I had heard the name Horizon Zero Dawn before, but knew absolutely nothing about it until I saw a video a couple days ago. What I saw was amazing. Looks right up my alley and apparently is very highly regarded.

Sigh. So many PS4 games I still want to get or try, so little time and money. The quarantine has resulted in my PS4 hard drive quickly getting full of downloaded games, and I normally prefer physical copies. I might have to order my next games off Amazon.

Your PS4 HDD is going to get filled up quick regardless whether you go digital or disc. The way disc games work is they install the data completely to your console. After that initial install, all the game data is loaded from the HDD during play so the disc just functions as a software license key that lets you play that data. Unlike digital games where the license is tied to your PSN account, it's the disc itself. HDD space used is the same either way.

As for games, I just picked up the complete edition of Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor for $4.99 off PSN. If you like open world games like Horizon mixed with Batman Arkham/Assassin's Creed style gameplay, for the price it's worth a look.

Yup. When one of the games I own on disc got given away as PS Plus eventually, I decided to switch to the digital version so I wouldn't have to keep digging out the disc. Had to do a re-install because of switching but the installed filesize was exactly the same. It annoys me that discs have been reduced to being nothing more than physical DRM

I appreciate the suggestion of Shadow of Mordor, seems like a great deal for $5. I love the Batman Arkham series but I can't stand Assassin's Creed, so if it's like that, I might not like it :p

I've been trying to figure out if there's any chance of Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition showing up on PS4. I'd really prefer playing it on PS4 rather than my Switch, but I just can't imagine playing without the orchestral soundtrack, which is one of the aspects that made me fall in love with DQVIII on PS2. I keep putting off getting it just in case the Definitive Edition is announced for PS4.

Same, the 2tb ssd and external 3tb hdd are quite full and I just bought the ps4 at black Friday. Doesn't help that the games I want are always on sale.

Horizon zero dawn was on sale when I got it and the game is awesome. Exactly my kind of game. And I discovered that mostly indie games are what I'm looking for.
