More salt, please. Although I do want to have Daniel Logan return somehow since he's a large part of the Mandalorian Mercs community. Dude has his own Boba Fett armor.

I'd rather he be playing Rex, but the dude's been shafted since ROTS so I'm happy to see him back in any capacity.

 

Boba showing up better be via a flashback vs. more OT history rewriting/squandering/murdering/fan pandering. Three sequels already did more than enough of that - it would be great of this show didn't also get polluted by it.

 

If this is true, I would rather he be played by anybody who never takes off his helmet and is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

 

Battlefront II has Temuera voicing Boba and Baker voicing all the clones. It's a good distinction.

 

So there’s also a rumor that Boba won’t be the only character he’s playing...

 

On a narrative aspect it makes sense to have him come back. Disney at this point is damned if they cast him and damned if they don’t.

 

I can see him doing the voice/suit acting for flashbacks during Mando's past.

 

That's what I'm hoping. I mean, I didn't/don't want Boba in this at all, but if they're gonna curtail the show for sake of shoehorning him in now, it better be in a way that isn't even more cringe worthy.

My money is on it being a flashback, and they're gonna do with Boba what Rogue One did with Vader and what the prequels did with young Kenobi & Yoda: there will be some epic battle sequence and Boba will be so fucking off the charts badass rad that it will make his original (boring) appearances look embarrassing by comparison. For better or worse dependent on the fan, of course.

Yeah that's where I'm at, too. I'll give it ONE episode that's dredged in flashbacky nostalgia - fine, give the kids what they won't shut up about for decades with a Boba spoon feed and let's see how it goes - but that's it. And obviously only do so in a way that doesn't completely undercut (read: neuter) the coolness of the main title character of the show.

Meh. Didn’t need or want Boba to be in this, but if this is really true, then I hope they do something interesting with him.

 

Nah, just extremely old. He'd be 41, so 80-ish in Clone years.
