I love the X-Brawn mold as well. He gets flak for the 1/3-of-his-car-mode-is-his-arm but whatever.

Solid, even having his head in the driver's seat in car mode is great.

I still think Mach Alert's feet becoming the seats is one of the coolest transformation bits in the history of TFs.
Mach Alert seems worthy of going this team what with his Anime-armor-esque head and Samurai skirt doors like Drift in bot mode.

Super cool idea. Even makes my distaste for Windblade less in this context.

Any chance anyone here has the Prize floor mat? It's basically the same as the Brave Maximus instructions but with more of the map. Last part of the Brave Maximus contest prizes that I need.

Busted this guy out a few weeks ago. Came across a good deal for an RID Prime on eBay a week or so after. It was incomplete: missing one shoulder attachment and arm upgrades. So I had to take this guy (above) apart to to display Omega Prime and Battle Mode OP. I have another RID Prime on the way... also incomplete, but with the parts from the other purchase, it will be complete. Will be displaying that in Alt mode. Now I just need one more RID Prime to have all his modes. This is what happens when I bring out old toys aha I don't think I want to do the same with Ultra Magnus.

As a young man early into a new decade, with the power of newly-found TFWiki to nurture my growing passion for Transformers, I stumbled across Robots in Disguise. It was this weird thing that happened so long ago and seemed unimportant. I came back to it later, and looked at some pictures. It looked strange and I didn't like it. But eventually I saw non-stock photo pictures, and realized just how fascinating and important this weird one-year stint was. I grew to like some designs and characters, and now appreciate it. Looking through this thread, I've found many of those pictures that changed my mind so long ago. Thanks, guys, for expanding my love.

I still don't like that one guy with the mismatched big car-front arm.

Its very rare for me to love asymmetrical robots, but yet all the robot brother have it, even prowl with that shield! Really love how complex the transformations are on each.

while I prefer more symmetrical bots in general, the asymmetry of the Car Bros was what brought my back into TFs when I saw a review online in 00/01 ~ they were so wild and unique, but turned into such beautiful cars (really, only a handful of mainline releases since then can even COMPETE when it comes to alt modes (some of the best from Universe 2.0 through OG Generations and RotF era movie). the paint, the chrome, the details. just tiny masterpieces.

I also loved how they integrated their weapons, Speedbreaker's crossbow in particular was just fantastic.

I don't even want to contemplate what seeing that review has cost me
(wish I could remember the site, it was similar to IGN, covered comics/video games/pop culture, but pretty sure it's defunct.)

but importing those 6 transformers (Fire Convoy, Magnus, Black Convoy and the Car Bros) set me down the path...

I will always wish, instead of 2 waves of pointless 84 redecos with new heads, that we'd gotten a RiD Homage combined with Hotspot redone as Fire convoy and cars redone as some of these guys ~ Ironhide as RiD'01 Ironhide/Ox would be so epic.
