Transformation wise, the leader mold is better (like how they tuck the windshield into the torso) but sculpt and paint wise SS wins miles ahead especially with the head sculpt and chest mold

Can we have both, transformation of leader with paint and scuplt of SS.

If they can paint the cape to make it more screen accurate and add some hinge to the fire hose to allow it to tuck into the torso, then we will have one nice looking backpack

I wouldn't get either version of Sentinel as an OS KO. He's gonna need a legitimate MPM that takes cues from both and adds improvements. The leader's accurate transformation with the studio series accurate proportions/sculpt. Sounds like a job for an excellent engineering and design team. One led by a certain "dark fruit".

Update on the comparison pic between OS Shockwave and Barricade Bottle Neck. With the color scheme on Barricade Bottle Neck, seems like it is hinting who is behind this Zeus Model

This is obviously Black Mamba/Aoyi Mech, maybe they’re branching away from the former due to the recent bad rep

So another division within BMB looks like it.

Bottleneck is not OS, correct? There is no OSKO of Barricade is there?

Not sure why, but this Shockwave sounded slightly larger than this (I'm not complaining), just working things out.

Not sure, but if that's the intention then it's BMB is really doing a lousy job in trying to re-branding themselves. They can easily change their packaging but showing this picture is like exposing their own cover

Nope, Bottleneck is 1:1 KO. Initially I was also in the impression that this OS Shockwave is a little too huge standing at 35cm. But looking at this picture, I would say it scales really nice

Given Shockwave is 35cm and Barricade is 17cm, they really scale together nicely. QC aside, BMB is really scaling their stuff nicely

Still suspicious of it being them. Not even a year has passed with the new name. Holding out hope this is just a barricade the person owned.

(Tho if it is BMB, this figure is already a lost cause.)

Personally I just feel like Black Mamba is just a hit or miss like with any other figure, even the official Masterpiece line is like that and honestly I’d prefer risking $65 and have a chance it’d have some minor problems than whatever Hasbro/Takara’s more expensive pricing with their MPM line is in while also being a gamble.

Except they've been far worse than hasbro's figures recently. cheap breakable plastic, paint that chips off upon touch, poor joint construction, horrible tolerances. WJ is a perfect example of KO's being high quality. The last thing I want is an MPM sized shockwave that looks great but is dollar store quality.

Here is Bottleneck with not OS Megs.
    IMG_20200508_185747.jpg
Shockwave should be 40 feet according to scale while Megatron is 35 feet. He should be 33-34 cm to scale with officisl MPM but this is absolutely workable.

Absolutely agree, modifying over the SS would be like trying to make a better optimus from the SS32, but they can do much better from the start. I think a MPM can take a lot of both while still having new feats.

Heh, not trying to discredit BA's work, i'm saying that a MPM Sentinel needs to be done from 0, rather than just heavily modifying an already existing figure, i feel like it will just create more issues than solving them.
Plus, BA has given up at modding his customs and now it's making the figures he likes to do.
