Just got this guy. No QC problems with mine as far as I could see. Took a while to finagle him into vehicle mode, but eventual success is still success. Left the arm cannon off as the connection would probably get loose after not very much swapping. Didn't bother switching the masks over as I didn't want to lose one or both of them. Attached the blade though since it can stay in place in both modes.

The only thing that really irks me about this figure is the backpack. After all this time you'd think Hasbro could get car alt backpacks right, but they still insist on hinges on clear plastic and no decent clearance to fold them away properly in robot mode. I decided to just fold the lowest part away and then half-fold the next joint. I did give it a go at forcing it into the correct position but it scared the shite out of me, plus the bit behind Bumblebee's head ended up stuck up too far. Dunno what I got wrong, but the whole backpack felt too fragile to experiment trying to fold it into other positions.

Overall I like the figure. A bit small and fragile-feeling maybe, but he still looks cool. Plus he was like half price.

 

That backpack is murder - hell, ROTF Mudflap folded his away better - especially after my Minor/Repaint: - Mudflap's backpack (solid fixes).

 

Finally finish my few months project hahahaha...
