Damn. If you hadn't already tried to paint them, I'd have offered to trade. I'm one of the unlucky ones who ordered the toon version and got the toon version instead of the superior silver.

I really hope XTB just makes both options available for Hoist instead of doing this idiotic lucky draw nonsense

Agreed. That "lucky draw" thing was straight up foolishness. I was so put off by it, I avoided their v2 toon Aegis altogether. Instead I'll gladly wait for FT Outrider in the proper colors, no matter how long that wait may be.

 

I got a MX-8T recently. Was puzzled that one of the seals wasn't sticky (the box had been opened before) and while the original accessories bag was still present, most accessories were in a separate bag.

Now that I read about this, someone must have swapped out the silver pieces?

I Believe that the box says VLE (Very limited Edition) if it has the silver weapons inside.

 

Well, then I have no idea what's up with mine.

 

That was my theory. VLE is silver weapons. I asked XTB for the white ones also and they sent them to me. I got a VLE. My white parts was sent with other replacement parts for their other figures so just paid for postage once and got a bit of stuff.

Does anybody know, where I can get Paean? I looked everywhere, but couldn't find him. It's out of stock. Ordered him at bestgray.com, because it looked like they have it in stock, but the order was cancelled. I don't think bestgray has it either.

Does XTB continue to produce him? if someone know something thanks for help!

Yeah, the 1st version is out of stock at retailers so far as I'm aware, although eBay is always an option.

There's a v2 in the works, and it's likely to be more toon accurate than the v1. They just did Aegis v2 in the last few months...

Yeah this guy is kind of a sleeper hit, seemed like it’d be around forever but then just suddenly dried up. I guess it was the only currently available TB last recently.

 

I remember people were pretty lukewarm about this reissue and it wasn't really moving since I saw it in-stock everywhere. Now it's all dried up. It's pretty much Maketoys Skycrow all over again for me.

 

You need to use airbrush or spray paint

 

I'm looking for Paean...the standard... Anyone know where it's available? Or have a extra there they're willing to part with... It was up on bbts but pre order sold out
