The smell of coffee makes me so nauseous and like there is always something carrying around it around with them in every store. That being said, I hate chocolate ice cream, I like certain chocolate bars/candies. I do prefer white chocolate.
Oh yeah, the best way I can describe it for me is it's like hitting an invisible brick wall. A few years ago, I was dating a girl from Iran, and she wanted to go into a coffee shop to get something. I had to leave - I started to get light headed, and she even said it was too strong.
LMFAO - sorry, it's the rated G version now. Love how auto-correct changes correct words or leaves incorrect ones. Uff...
Me reading this as a chocolate lover I don't like coffee though. Could never like it in any form possible.
My best friend in middle school didn't like chocolate, and he caught crap for it from our classmates. Me, I'm such a picky eater anyway so I sympathized with him. I LOOOOOVE white chocolate. Regular milk chocolate is good, but it really depends on who made it. I saw a show a few months ago about how Milton Hershey tried to replicate the European milk chocolate process, but his ended up a little more bitter, and he went with it. That's why Hershey chocolate tastes different, and IMO not as good. My personal favorite is chocolate from Freia, a Norwegian company. Their Firkløver bar is heaven. Makes Hershey taste like monkey sharts. I can't stand dark chocolate. It's just so bitter. ICK.
I would eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner if my stomach would let me. It is the perfect food. That guy Reese's, putting peanut butter in the chocolate? Fucking genius. Possibly the only person in history to successfully improve upon perfection. Chocolate milk, also genius. Hershey is my Mecca. It's 8:20 in the morning and I'm going to go have some chocolate right now.
It's one of those foods, like tomatoes, that I can't/don't/rarely eat raw. Hearing people complain about Hershey's, I wonder if that's part of it, as Hershey's _is_ chocolate here. Back before the asshole scandal-ridden* executive cabal moved production to Mexico (and less than a year later demolished the historic 1903 factory), you could actually smell it when you drove through Hershey. Bizarrely, my town also has a chocolate factory but I've never heard anybody claim the same here. * like using the organization Milton and Catherine Hershey established to help orphaned kids as a slush fund...
I like chocolate a lot. Now, that being said, I only really like dark, unsweetened chocolate - think unsweetened baking chocolate. I accidentally one time got a bar of the semi sweet stuff, and it was terrible.
Chocolate with sea salt is sooooooo next level good that it almost makes me believe there is a Heaven... because that's the only place it come from. I'm also diehard proponent of ONLY eating chocolate when it's out of a freezer. Most people give me a look of "WTF" when they find out I freeze all my chocolate, but every single one of them instantly gets on the bandwagon the second they actually try it. The. Fucking. Best.
I don't like candy, not just chocolate. But I do like chocolate chips cookies. Gourmet, not those "name brand" (Keebler, etc) prepackaged cookies -- those are human dog biscuits. I like most gourmet cookies (nuts, berries, spices, etc). Maybe once per year, I'll get a craving for a candy bar, like Snickers, but that's really it. I can go weeks, or even months, without having a single piece of candy.
I hate the taste of Mango, Beer, most Wine, and anything very stinky Cheesy. I suspect that I developed a dislike of strong cheese foods after a childhood incident. I had thrown up all over the place, and I must have had eaten something cheesy. That experience was just so unpleasant, that perhaps I just subconsciously associate cheese with that yuckiness. Pizza is still one of my favorite foods. But only if the pizza is not overpowered with a lot of strong smelly cheese. The very sight of an all cheese pizza just grosses me out.
I like how when I eat chocolate, my mouth is full of creamy chocolatey goodness and I lose the ability to speak. Dovt boffer me I'm eethinn
