Was anyone else thinking that the higher price for ft iceman was gonna cover the extra shipping? I mean it's a 20-30 bucks difference for two limb bots. If it was because of the higher shipping I get it but I got an email asking for the extra shipping yesterday. Iceman has cost me the same as my maverick did without the extra .

not sure if this has been mentioned, but try running it through hot water to loosen/soften the glue (if any). I think I did the same for one of the pairs.

 

Honestly I'd try to get it from fanstoys themselves and tell them to pay for shipping

i don't think that's true. the problem is you can't just get rid of the passenger section and seats. a cargo plane is equipped to hold much more cargo because of that. if you watch this video linked in the china shipping thread below, some passenger airlines are using their planes to do cargo flights to make back lost revenue.

It helps subsidize the cost but it's not free. I'm talking take them out and fly the cabin and underbelly full of cargo. They can fly so many products in weight compared to peoples weight.

It's a total waste imo to have cheap fuel, large amounts of grounded jets and 33 million Americans without jobs, none the less how many around the world and simultaneously make air transport for cargo more expensive because of missing capacity. We dismantle interiors for planes in Europe so I know they can remove the seats fairly efficiently. It's just not their model but sitting around thinking passenger demand will jump right back seems like a long shot.


The seats have to be stored which has a cost.

 

Who's paying for the fuel, plane maintenance, and pilots?

My point is, those costs would just be added to the shipping cost. So it would still be much more expensive.

 

DHL is being weird.
I thought it was strange how it took DHL over a week to get my package from Amsterdam to just south of Rotterdam, turns out they're taking it on a trip to Köln and Dorsten in Germany.(not a direct DHL shipment, this was CNE with DHL doing the delivery)
